BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX* Leaf Blower, Axial, 2.0-Ah, (BCBL700D1)

We upgraded out last B&D blower to this one and I LOVE it!! It's got two power settings which are helpful. One blows gently and other cleans everything quickly!! The battery is more powerful than our last one and that's great. But the noise is low so that's also nice.

I haven't had a chance to put my leaf blower to use yet, but in a few weeks I'll be getting out to clean up the yard, and I'm sure I'll be using my leaf blower. I have no doubts that this blower will provide the air volume I'll need. It's axial design looks to be the key.

This is one of my staple yard tools that I have used over and over again and it never stops working oerrty each time! It's strong to blow grass and leaves but light enough to carry for extended periods of time. Its speed and airflow is intense but not overpowering and it will run for hours with a good charge. I love how heavy duty it is- we've used it after hurricanes and storms and it definitely stands the test of time!

20V axial blower is powerful and light, easy to handle, ideal to use in my back yard. I rather use this battery version than my corded blower. The only thing I would like this combo came with 2 batteries instead of 1, I recommend having an extra battery.

Excellent Blower

We purchased this blower for home use. We like it because it is light weight and easy to use. However, the battery only lasts about 5 to 8 minutes before it goes dead. We even purchased a second battery thinking the first one just wouldn't charge, but the second battery only lasts about 5 to 8 minutes as well. We are not sure if our charger just doesn't work correctly or not. It would be perfect if it just charged longer than 5 minutes.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He was thrilled because most all of his other tools are Black and Decker so he has several batteries. Unfortunately, the blower only runs about 5 minutes before it shuts off, regardless of which battery he uses. Really wish it worked better as the size is perfect.

The battery last only a few minutes and gets hot quickly. It takes 5 hours to charge. Blower speed is OK on strong setting but is kind off useless In other settings. I will not recommend anyone to anyone to buy it.

Purchased at a big box store & am using the OEM battery supplied with this blower. Its high speed is perfect but it shuts off after ~15 seconds of use. This necessitates switching it to completely off, then to the lower speed, then again to the higher speed. Simply switching to low will not restart the blower, it must be switched completely off, then back on. Swithing then to high speed, it still runs only very briefly, then shuts down again. Rinse & repeat. The lower speed runs to the end of the battery charge without the shutdown but isn't much faster than sweeping with a broom. This is extremely annoying for an otherwise perfectly adequate blower. I would be very happy if it would maintain power at high speed to the end of the battery's charge without having to cycle the power every 15 seconds. A satisfactory remedy to this severe shortcoming would change my opinion to highly positive in a heartbeat.

Leaf blower was purchased for my 72-year old mom so she could do light blowing of leaves, dirt on garage floor, etc. all on her own. We were impressed with light weight of the blower,easy attachment of battery, and advertised (on box!) of up to 18 months battery life. However, battery literally dies after about 5 seconds of use. It is fully charged! A waste of money and very disappointing unfortunately for my mom. I would highly advise against purchasing this Black and Decker product until they can figure out the issue with their battery.
