BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX* Leaf Blower, Axial, 2.0-Ah, (BCBL700D1)

We upgraded out last B&D blower to this one and I LOVE it!! It's got two power settings which are helpful. One blows gently and other cleans everything quickly!! The battery is more powerful than our last one and that's great. But the noise is low so that's also nice.

I haven't had a chance to put my leaf blower to use yet, but in a few weeks I'll be getting out to clean up the yard, and I'm sure I'll be using my leaf blower. I have no doubts that this blower will provide the air volume I'll need. It's axial design looks to be the key.

Excellent Blower

Disappointed in the power level. The old corded one I had for years was much more powerful. Depending on where you want to use it, it may work fine. Keep the old corded one just in case.

We purchased this blower for home use. We like it because it is light weight and easy to use. However, the battery only lasts about 5 to 8 minutes before it goes dead. We even purchased a second battery thinking the first one just wouldn't charge, but the second battery only lasts about 5 to 8 minutes as well. We are not sure if our charger just doesn't work correctly or not. It would be perfect if it just charged longer than 5 minutes.

Lightweight and Powerful. This Leaf blower can make quick work of leaves and debris lingering on your lawn. Cons of this leaf blower would be that it does indeed kill the battery quite quickly when the power boost is engaged. Opt for an addtional battery or purchase the 20V 4Ah battery for larger yards.

Does not seem to hold a charge very long. Would not recommend

In high speed it stops every 20 seconds…. Requires shutting off and restarting every time.. runs well in low speed..

The battery last only a few minutes and gets hot quickly. It takes 5 hours to charge. Blower speed is OK on strong setting but is kind off useless In other settings. I will not recommend anyone to anyone to buy it.

Just not quite as good as it could be. While it is compatible with the other 20V products in this line, the battery you get with this is just not good enough to be useful... I only get about 10 minutes of life and then its shot! Really, the engineers must know this, yet this is what they put forward for consumer use... Why not provide a larger battery so this can be a useful tool for the owner?
