Light weight easy to handle. Battery snaps in tight and ready to go. Taking the catcher bag off is a bit difficult but not a major issue.
I love this sander it works very well, and does an amazing job!
Nice and light weight. Love the battery compatibility with my other cordless tools.
I've owned a woodworking shop. I've owned many sanders. This is meant for quick, non cordless jobs and it helps to have several batteries. It's great for woodworking on the fly. It's not meant to do long sanding jobs where you have a plug nearby and it's good for getting in places when you are in awkward places and don't want a cord hanging across your face. I find it a bit awkward to hold as the battery takes up space where the cord usually is, but as I said, I see this more of a specialty tool than a standard one.
Works pretty well. It is a strong and powerful tool. For any battery powered tool, one cannot use the tool for too long. I think, this one works for more than 15 minutes in one full charge. This is enough for my work. Moreover, I have several BLACK+DECKER batteries that I always keep charged. The sander can be handled easily. The dust collector works pretty well.
I bought this sander because it was not expensive and it would provide for the need I had for a sander. Had a problem with 1st battery, which had to be replaced. Short battery life - needs recharge often, which takes over an hour. Buy one or two extra batteries if you buy this product.
This is a pretty good small orbital sander. I got some higher quality sanding discs because the one it came with was not strong enough to do smooth a piece of old plywood. The splinters from the plywood poked a hole in the sawdust bag, so I recommend being careful where the bag rubs on your project. Overall, a great tool.
I'm returning it. The seller is, IMO, shady with their customer service practices. First, if you attempt to cancel the order within 30 seconds of placing it, it's too late. My situation was that I chose my debit card, but meant to use my gift card. As soon as I placed the order, I realized my mistake, and immediately cancelled it. Two hours later, I get the email that it's too late to cancel the order. But, here's where the seller gets real unsupportive…if you want to return the item, it has to be in its original packaging, unopened, and unused. Basically, you'll receive a questionable product that was probably which has already been returned at least once, and may have damaged at some point; however, because it's still in its original packaging, you'll pay for a “new” product. My advice, pay a little more, buy from a different seller, and get the guarantee that if it doesn't work, you'll be able to return it.
DO NOT BUY!!! My son gave this to me as a gift. Run time is 15 minutes max after charging battery fully. Charged an additional 1.5 hours and had to get back to the project. Battery last 5 minutes this time. I am heartbroken as my son spent his hard earned money on this piece of junk thinking he was getting me a needed gift. FRUSTRATING!!!!
This product is not good. I feel like for a tool that is used for sanding, it would live up to expectations. I got this for my girlfriend for Christmas bc she wanted to fix up some old furniture. We have only gotten to use it a few times and everytime it just shuts off after a few minutes. It started out at like maybe 15 minutes of use and now just doesnt even want to turn on. We make sure the charger is fully charged and even try to use it in cooler weather. The thing stops and isnt even hot. I have always been told that black and decker was the best to go but now I am seriously rethinking this. I am a very disappointed customer and of course now I have a very upset girlfriend that has now decided to give up on something she was becoming very invested in. So no I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone!
