I wasn't sure I'd like electric scissors, but arthritis in my hands really limits me using a regular rotary cutter. I used these to cut out Christmas stockings to make for a charity project, and they did great. They are loud, but I use an ironing mat under to help with the vibration, and it also helps me to control them better. I also cut batting for a different project.

They seem ok, but the older 3.6v has a better angle to cut large cardboard boxes. This version just kept getting stuck, and the button kept getting unpressed. Turning the unit off when trying to cut.
