BLACK+DECKER 9-Inch Electric Carving Knife, Stainless Steel, White

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. It works beautifully for a turkey or a roast. Where it really shines is at slicing fresh baked bread! My daughter bakes from scratch sour dough bread, which is much harder to slice with a knife. She's a lefty and after watching her slice the bread, I feared a trip to the ER was imminent! My son in law was amazed and he's a chef!

Made a super great refrigerator magnet. Very powerful. I ordered the wrong stud locator but didn't discover that until after the product arrived and I read the label details. Not suitable for older style apartment buildings like the one I live in. Nonetheless, it makes a terrific refrigerator magnet and I can't complain too much because the price was low.

It is sharp!!!! It is well made, it is truly ergonomic!!! the blades guide in with a special guide.. So one attempt is all it takes for them to click into place. My last one did not have that feature, and it took several attempts to get the blades to go in and click into place. what a great improvement!!! this was a top 10 purchase of the year!

It makes heading turkey, roast, ham, so easy. Especially with today's cost of beef when you make a roast, you slice it thin enough to stretch it out if company arrives and it looks beautiful. This is my second life the other one last it's probably about 16 years. I replaced it immediately because I missed it the first time I went to cut a roast. It's not just for Thanksgiving turkey!

Not the best pick but it works and we needed it right away. It cuts well but don't expect anything fast. If you try to cut to thick it bogs down and you have to move the knife to make it smaller. But all and all it was a good buy that I would purchase again

It's okay… it's not that powerful. It's a little awkward because you have to press the button the entire time or it doesn't work and that makes holding it cumbersome. It's good for occasional use but if you make bread and want to slice through crunchy crust, it's difficult.

The knife was very awkward for me to handle. It's I have a small hand and it was hard to grip that handle and have control of the knife. The blades were are so long that it's hard if you're just trying to cut a loaf of bread that you've just baked. I just found it. It just was very awkward and I couldn't put my hand far enough around the handle to be able to handle it accurately so I am returning this also.

Black and Decker tools are great in the yard, but not in the kitchen. I was so disappointed in their electric knife. All I wanted was to cut up apples into small pieces. The handle is too large and heavy for arthritic or injured hands. The safety button refused to retreat fully into the handle requiring both hands to turn on the knife making it impossible to keep on. Plus when on, the blades vibrated a lot and the appliance was very noisy. If you need help in the kitchen, this electric knife won't give it. It's low in price and performance.

This electric knife does not cut well at all. I sliced a roast, with much difficulty and had to push very hard until my hand hurt! I decided to try it on Bread that had been made, thinking maybe the knife would be better for something softer. Not really! I will be returning.

First time using this knife and it bogged down as it made its way through the cabbage. It would do this and then shut down completely. When my husband opened the box and removed the knife mechanism, there was something rattling inside. Not sure what it is, but it surely shouldn't have something moving about in it. We will return to store and trade it for another to see if we had gotten a bad one.
