I was a bit skeptical of a tool that just snaps together like this. But so far, so good. Also, I own a few battery operated tools for use when a corded one isn't practical. but prefer 120 volts whenever possible. At this point, I have only the drill attachment that came with it and the trim saw attachment that cost extra. I'm happy with both and I'll be buying more attachments if I remain happy with what I have so far.
I bought this drill 2 years ago, and still works great! I have many attachments for it; they are easy to switch out, and all work very well. I like not having to worry about a battery draining during a project too. I bought a second drill as a back up in case the first ever dies...but I've been using both!
Purchased drill for my Husband and even all the attachments , he loves it. He thinks it's so fabulous. I ordered this on on line so he would have a spare. Anyone wondering what this project is like I would give it a 10+
i bought this tool to work on my daughter's desk i got 1 accessory to go along with it and plan to get all of the attachments to complete the set then maybe get a cordless model
It was a little heavy in a beginning but after doing several projects with it I love it! I don't mind the power cord and because it doesn't use batteries it can work for ever at the max speed. I would definitively recommend this to everybody!
My boys bought this as a gift. It's not something I would have purchased for myself. I love it. I have the sander(which is my least favorite-it's not very powerful and I prefer to sand by hand), the circular saw(which works amazing for small yet perfect cuts), and I have the jigsaw(which is my favorite). Because I am a "capable" female, I find this to be light enough but still powerful. All attachments are only a click away from use. The battery has a great life but I always have one as a back up. I would recommend this for everyday use for the things that always seem to need to be done. It's definitely my "go to tool".
I found this Drill to be an excellent tool for light work, such as around the house, garage or workshop. It has the most important features that I wanted in a drill, quick & easy drill-bit change, variable speed, reverse, reasonably light with very little "kick-back !! I would want a few more amps for heavier work, such as professional or commercial use. But overall, I found this Drill to be exactly what I needed for my type of work !!
I bought this item and the Impact Driver unit. It is being used mostly as impact driver and it performs very well. No need to buy the battery (it's expensive) and no hassle with charging since I do all my work at home. A good investment!
Adequate for jobs around the house. The lowest driver setting still stripped the head of a screw, so I need the impact driver attachment. I would like to see a Black and Decker Pro Matrix drill that is brush-less with heavy duty bearings that could hold up to professional work demands and use all the attachments. I would buy it.
I was extremely pleased with this tool until I tried to insert a bit. The mechanism that holds the bit in was completely missing. I returned the tool and borrowed a drill from my neighbor. I would still purchase this tool if I could be sure it was properly assembled and checked for functionality before being packaged.
