BLACK+DECKER BPACT08WT 4,000 BTU SACC/CEC (8,000 BTU ASHRAE) Portable Air Conditioner, For Room up to 350 sq. ft., White

This is a 14,000 BTU ASHRAE unit with actual cooling power of 10,200 BTU DOE. I HAVE A 480 sq ft apt. Cools down great. With a fan going in high pointed into bedroom it cools room to around 21 C. I am very pleased with it.

Easy to install works great. My room is a small apartment upstairs in the house and it keeps the whole thing cool it's a little mini two bedroom. I would recommend it to others really great.

Loving this air conditioner. Keeps my whole room at a consistant temperature finally! So easy to set up and use.

This air conditioner was a little more expensive but it is worth every penny. I literally get cold. I live in N. California where it gets very hot and I am no longer worried about the summer heat now.

Works really good to cool our boys room. We live in Northern Ca and so far this is working great to cool off their bedroom. They have high ceilings, which can make it harder to cool but it is working great to keep them cool at night.

Cools down a good size room well, however, this A/C unit is quite noisy. Overall, it's fine, wait until it's on sale as it's not worth the full cost.

This was quiet at first, then after its first overnight use it has a weird rattling sound like something is wrong and is now quite noisy. It's not as cooling as my old AC unit. Wouldn't recommend. I'm considering returning it.

Very disappointed in this unit.....and I researched it before hand. Did not keep up with the 90 degree temp yesterday. Will be moving it to a smaller room.

I purchased this worthless pile of junk September of 2024. It's now July of 2025 and it will not work. I turned it on, it popped and died. It had a life span of about 30 hours use before it blew up. I have not even used it in the last couple of weeks. Allied Air Enterprises, LLC is not interested in this issue. So it's $350.00 bucks out the window. I was worried about the "Black %26 Decker" name but foolishly purchased it anyway. Just another American company, now building crap. DO NOT BUY THIS.

I purchased the room air conditioner in March of 2025. I also purchased a 4 year warranty on it. By July 1, it had quit working. It displayed nothing on the display screen and would not turn on. There was only a few drops of water that came out the water drain tube. I contacted customer support through Black and Decker and through the extended warranty company. Since I ordered on Walmart. com, there was not a traditional receipt of the purchase sent, and I cannot remember receiving a purchase receipt by email. I sent in a picture of the model and serial number on the air conditioner and a copy of the charge posted on my Mastercard statement from Walmart .com for that date and the transaction. I'm still working with customer service to prove that I purchased it, in order to have it repaired or replaced. I wouldn't have expected it to break down after 4 months. Not recommended.
