The steamer works exactly as expected and was a great price. The small tank capacity leads to needing frequent refills so it's not ideal for cleaning more than a couple garments at a time but that's to be expected from something as compact as this. I just needed something cheap in a pinch to freshen up my suit and the Black %26 Decker Compact Garment Steamer filled that role exceptionally

This steamer works great. It steams up quickly and puts out good steam. I do wish the water container was larger, it uses the water up pretty fast. It's lightweight and easy to handle. It's a good size for use when traveling. It took out the wrinkles in 2 skirts quickly and no real effort was used. The steamer works very well. It looks like you steam ironed your clothes.

I'm 63 years old and love to iron. I have purchased at least a dozen steamers over the years. They were all junk... spitting water, leaking, bulky, heavy, mild steam etc. I did not expect this little machine to be any different. BOY WAS I WRONG! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this pretty little effective machine!!! I steamed 6 tops and while i did have to keep refilling, MY HAND AND WRIST DIDN'T HURT! My arthritis is thrilled. Its neck shape was thoughtfully designed. They made it comfortable to hold. It is extremely effective, consistent, NON SPITTING STEAM!! I literally just ordered a second one to give to my daughter. If you are not sure which steamer to try, save yourself the heartache of buying a more expensive one only to be disappointed. This little lavender steamer is fabulous! Please note, the hole in the removable "cup" section that holds the distilled water is tiny. You will need something with a small spout/tip to transfer your distilled water into the cup. Most other companies provide a pouring cup with their steamers, while this one does not. It would be next to impossible to pour water straight from a gallon jug into this steamers "cup". Along with a pouring cup, I wish they would also add to their "steamer kit" or offer for additional sale, a single, thin, heat resistant glove. When steaming your garment you naturally need to adjust it with one hand, while you steam with the other hand in order to get to hard to reach places. I always wind up burning my left hand. A heat resistant glove would remedy that. But for under $20. this is one of those rare times you get MORE than what you pay for.

I had a standup steamer that finally bit the dust so I was looking for a replacement. I ended up purchasing this steamer for its compact size and reviews. I was afraid I would have to hold the button down for the steam to work the whole time, but that is not the case. You press at one time and it works continuously. If I am steaming a lot of laundry I will attach it to an extension cord, so I have ease of movement. It gets the job done and I am extremely happy with it, especially for the price.

I am huge on reviews. I read the reviews and chose this steamer yesterday, to steam my daughter's First Communion dress. I was beyond impressed. I refilled the container once and only used half of that refill - it was no problem at all. Fast heat up and excellent results! Steamed the dress and the veil. Very excited to take on trips due to the size. I am sending the link to my mother-in-law, she watched me steam the dress, she wants to order one as well! Recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love this. It's so easy to use and does a great job. Make sure to use distilled water. The tank doesn't hold much. But it's the perfect size for small Tasks. I bought it to steam my son's graduation gown and used it on curtains, clothes and tablecloths since then. Great product.

I bought this for my daughter to keep at her new apartment, because it is easier and safer than teaching her to iron. The set up and use is really easy and it works great. Be sure to use distilled water to keep the steamer in good working order. It only takes a few minutes to steam out wrinkles in dresses and tableclothes or any wrinkled fabric. It is also useful for some cleaning projects. Overall this is great quality and worth the price. It is a very convenient tool to keep on hand and has held up well for over a year now

My previous steamer, which was also Black and Decker but bigger, gave out suddenly. I liked it but apparently they no longer make it. So I got this one. But I'm not sure I will keep it. I only tried it once, but compared to my previous one, it was disappointing.. It does produce steam, but not so much. You have to keep pressing the button. And the reservoir is a pain to refill and impossible to dry, because the opening is smaller than a dime. On the plus side, it's inexpensive, and might be good for someone who only occasionally needs a steamer, or for someone traveling.

I bought this item online and picked up at the store. when i got it home the box didn't seem new. when i opened it the steamer was not in packaging but the packaging was stuffed down in the box. there was also still water in the tank. clearly this device had been used then returned. I'm sure it works fine but did nobody even bother checking? is this normal for returned items? you just sell them to the next pick up order? pitiful

This item came very obviously previously used. It was scotch-taped shut. It had been previously used because there was water droplets in the holding tank. The cord was unwrapped and re-wrapped. I'm very disappointed that this was presented to me as a “new” item. I would like customer service to reach out to me concerning this obviously previously used item.
