My new favorite tool, very light weight and easy to use fully extended. It does better with thicker/firmer branches, it just saws through them effortlessly. The smaller branches on hedges are harder because they get pushed around instead of getting cut, so it takes a couple attempts. But still a great chainsaw!
Funny that I was asked to write a review after this item was on clearance. This saw really came in handy to clear some branches that were rubbing against my roof.
I used this saw to trim the branches of a very large silver maple tree that was growing into my house. It exceeded my expectations in both efficiency and durability. It handled large branches easily.Just rest it on a branch and pull the trigger.
I have never needed anything like the pole saw before But where we live we have a lot of small birch with a lot of branches. It does a great job with the branches .We really like it
Works well, built for use - not flimsy at all. So far, trimmed about a dozen trees and going strong. My only complaints are the oil cap will leak if laid on side, and there is NOT a spot to store the adjusting tool. It should have been a no brained to do it.
Good electric pole saw. Chain seems to catch more than i expected. Maybe slight link misalignment or needed further sharpening?
Purchased to trim very large maple tree. Worked amazingly well. Cut one limb that measured 7-5/8 inches in diameter. Good Value. Use good quality chain oil and monitor consumption if you are cutting heavy material.
It cuts good just an little heavy not sure if anything can be done about that aspect. Overall im pretty happy only used it once so we will see how long it last.
I am not familiar with tools, so this may be a user error, but the chain fell off twice the first time we used this product. My 18 year old son was eager to get his hands on it, so he was actually the one using it. It was very good at cutting low hanging branches on our tree - some of which were fairly thick. However the chain started to fall off after about 25 minutes of use. I don't know enough about these to know if we are supposed to adjust or tighten them, but for a brand new item I didn't think this would be necessary.
Good for cutting smaller branches only.
