Worth the effort. I'm a very conscientious and diligent patron. I have a process I typically use for a product I'm purchasing, and it invariably it's worth the effort. This purchase was the epitome of the term “worth the effort “. I literally go through pretty much every iron that is sold by WalMart individually, looking at key factors. A meticulous vetting process. It has helped me time after time make the best purchase possible with dozens of offerings. This iron here is pretty much flawless in my opinion. You will not regret this purchase.

We returned another iron with excellent reviews but we found it too heavy. We purchased this model for its simplicity and light weight. All functions work well and she is pleased.

A very handy efficient steam iron! Love the smaller size which is so easy to iron any area with! Well designed and well made for easy use! No more big clumsy irons for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I iron every week. It can be therapeutic one day and the most dreaded chore the next. I have been using the same compact iron for years so given the chance to try a new iron I was ecstatic..no life..I know..lol. This was my dream iron. Yes, it has one caveat I will address. But overall, wow. It's so easy to use. Glides effortlessly over the shirt and presses to perfection. What I fell in love with...the dolphin tip as I named it. The tip or "nose" of the iron fits perfectly between the buttons of a shirt. It's bottle buzzed so to speak. The body of the iron also fits further between the buttons than others. If you think that's not a big deal, how about shaving 4 minutes off a shirts? Literally, I was spending 10 minutes a shirt. I know this as I iron regularly each week. This iron cut my iron time per shirt by 4 minutes. Wow. Has all the settings for fabrics you would need. Steady stream of steam which is my preference or a burst if you choose. My one and only caveat is the filling of the water chamber. It would be so beautiful to include a small funnel to make it simple. Fortunately I own one..but it would be 5 stars if it included one. Love my new iron!

A must have for those who enjoy a pressed and polished look to their clothing and appearance. A definite upgrade from an iron I had for many years. I'm happy to have found this one, it's perfect.

Heats up rather quick and with the 3 way auto shutoff I don't have to worry about accidentally leaving it on or it getting too hot. I like how it regulates the steam, it helps a lot with getting a crisp clean look without overdoing it with the steam. The iron itself glides with ease and the pivoting cord helps with maneuvering.

I give this iron a zero. Will not heat to temperature, even on highest setting. It's been 6 months and used once. I thought I would give it another try. I turned it on and would not heat up AT ALL! I turned it off, left it pulled in, I left the room and when I got back the red indicator light was flashing rapidly and making a popping sound. I immediately unplugged it and threw it in the trash. Stay far away from this model. Never buying Black %26 Decker again.
