BLACK+DECKER EasyCut Extra-Tall Can Opener, White, EC500W

The color is white, though on the picture it looked grayish. Black Decker has been a very good company. I like how it cuts threw the can. The knife sharpener I do not usually use. I'm older and want something to help and this does it. It is new with 2 years guarantee -- the last one I had needed to be replaced. I tried hand openers but have been proven difficult.

Replacing the one I had ( which broke after 4 to 5 years) just like it and it works great. I like it because can open tall cans.

Works well--just what I need--nothing fancy, just opens can easily, tall cans too. Highly recommend.

Bought for mom, can't be around her due to the covid. she was needing a new one so thanks to Walmart online I got to send it to her as a gift. She loves it.

So, I've gone through 2 of these now because I didn't realize the top portion of the can opener was on the bottom of the box the first order. I ended up returning it, thinking there was something wrong with it. When the second one arrived, I noticed the bottom portion was in the very bottom of the box. I must've overlooked it on the first order. So, just remove everything from the box when you order this item. I love the little detachable bottle opener. I use it all the time. The product itself is pretty standard quality for what you'd expect from Black

Hard to see the blade when connecting the can.

The cutting piece falls off all the time so it's annoying and it's hard to line up the can.

I had a Black and Decker can opener for years, a great can opener, no problems with it. It finally gave out so I bought another brand of can opener and it was a real piece of junk, it wouldn't open the cans at all. I returned it to the store and got a refund and bought this B%26D can opener. It opens cans with some difficulty, I had to figure it out, the top piece is loose and you have to hold it in, not as good as the old B%26D but certainly better than the other piece of junk I returned. I don't recommend this can opener. But at least it does open the cans.

Had a Black and Decker can opener for years, so looked for one when I needed to replace it. BIG PROBLEM when you leave the can opener and don't hold the can, it drops it when done. First time was a larger can of beans. So I held the larger cans. Was very disappointed when it dropped a small soup can. Last straw was a can of pickled beets. Pink everywhere!!!

Not good -- very hard to engage with can -- bought it for my 82 year mother as replacement for a good 10 year old Black and Decker -- she just gave it back to me and said it just wont work for her. Even I have to fumble around to get it to actually cut the lid.
