Healthy Choices made get this juicer and it was the best decisions I've made. No Pulp. Great for beginners. The design is simple. And the Motor is strong . I love it.
This Black and Decker juicer does what is expected with carrots. Carrots are all this user has juiced. It creates quite a bit of carrot pulp, so if you can find ways to repurpose the pulp that would help reduce waste. If you use carrots other than baby peeled, you will need to peel and cut into small sizes bulk carrots before loading into the juicer. Easy to disassemble to clean. Easy to reassemble.
I can juice carrots with this juicer. they are too hard for my other juicer. pulp is not bad with celery juice either. We strain it again even with our more experience juicer. This one is easier to clean, but I don't like cleaning any of them.
If you're someone who wishes your home appliances were less noisy then you should consider walking past this Black and Decker juicer. This is my first juicer and although it works great it's the loudest thing ever. Either someone doesn't know the definition of quiet or I misread something. Either way Black and Decker should definitely remove the word “Quiet” from the box because it's everything but that. As for the quality and performance, this is my first juicer and I say it works great. Easy to assemble and clean. If you don't care about the noise your juicer makes, I'd recommend this one but if you want to hear yourself think while juicing, definitely keep shopping.
a few things: This juicer is NOT QUIET! I never expected a machine that doesn't make any noise, but this sounds like a plane engine landing when i turn it off! Definitely cannot use this when others are sleeping. Granted, it does what it should - it separates the pulp from the juice - but there's been times when I've seen chunks of veggies or fruit that weren't pulverized. Also, it moves around a lot. You have to stabilize it yourself, holding it with one hand while pushing down on the veggies with the other or it'll get away from you and juice will go all over. It definitely needs little suctions on its feet or something.
This juicer is LOUD! It’s jerky when in motion. You can only add one (cut) piece at a time and most times have to turn it off and on or it makes a mess. The pulp is full of juice and wasn’t extracted well. If you’re looking for a fast juicer and in a hurry this would work for you.
I had a dumb idea I was going to juice daily with this juicer. It's on the small side and the juice dispenser part is on an angle that you only get about half the juice and the rest goes with the pulp. Also I blocked the fad diets of my mother and her friends during the 80s/90s from my memory. (Cabbage soup diet? ugh) Otherwise I would remember the pulp being thrown away is the best part for your body!!
I juiced 3 peeled cucumbers. That was fine. I continued with half of a celery stalk. It began to make a weird grinding noise. I had to clean out the metal strainer. I finished the celery and noticed the majority of the juice was going with the pulp and not into the juice container I was using. I removed the metal strainer, scrubbed it with a brush and reinserted it. The juice continued to go with the pulp and very little juice went into the juice container. Worst juicer I've ever used. Will not recommend to anyone.
This item could not break down celery in small pieces to convert into juice before it would start smelling like burnt rubber, the little little veins of the celery would get stuck in the part that would chop it down and grind it to juice. So defeated the purpose of having a juicer if you have to practicallythinly very thinly chopped your fruit or vegetables.
difficult to use I had fruit fly and vegetables everywhere in the kitchen I had the thing on top that you hold the fruit down or whatever you're juicing with and then on cleanup it took like 20 minutes to clean it all the way you have to use a brush to get the little piece of the fruit out of the blade and only after all that time I only got 4 ounces of juice
