BLACK+DECKER GH3000 7.5 Amp Electric Curved Shaft String Trimmer, Anti-Vibration

This is the same model number I purchased years ago. It is sturdy and powerful for use in my yard. It is lightweight as well. I also purchased extra line because it seems most line sold at my local stores is .065, when this trimmer uses .085

It is super powerful, good size, the string automatically feeds, really great! I have a big lot and lots of trimming to do, this gets it done and then some - strongly recommend. Plus - walmart has the best price for this item, I shopped around.

In my opinion GH3000 Black and Decker the best corded trimmer on the market. Powerful as a residential gas unit, easy enough to re-spool with .080" trimmer line. Always use round line which the box stores don't carry much lately. I find that the multi-edge lines are noisy and the excess vibrations they produce will shorten the life of any trimmer. Round line works best period! I order a four hundred feet per cutting season. Buy a couple spare spools which come pre-wound with 20 feet of round green line. Eventually they will crack and need replaced. Also buy a spare feed cap because the lever inside will eventually fail - I go through one every 30 or so uses. They aren't that expensive - five to six bucks. I got ten years out of my last GH3000 before it failed, and if I get close to that on my replacement GH3000, I surely won't complain.

I have purchased 3 of these. They're light weight, extremely easy to operate.

I have the GH1000 that I've hade for years now. I like the equipment. So, I brought the GH3000 for my Sister. The size and weight will suite her well.

This is so nice and light. I have another similar name brand trimmer and it's a back breaker! This single spool trimmer cuts smoothly and it has good power. The price was very comparable.

The product did not meet expectation.

This is my third unit, which is to say I get my useful life out of them with heavy use (about 2 years), then the motors burn out. The product performs well for the money; however, the replacement parts are poorly designed and the materials are poor, but such is the way with cheap Chinese cr*p.
