This blender is awesome. I like that it is glass holds the content of food well. Easy to clean rinse and wash. Dont do the dishwasher. I like the size that goes back to the holding of content very spacious lots of room. Blends well ice and all my fruits. Overall it is very nice i like it. I received the Black & Decker PowerCrush 700W Multi-Function Blender as a product to review, I am Very pleased with this product. It is easy to assemble, The glass unit is very thick, holds a lot more than my previous blender. Very snug fitting lid to prevent spills, easy push button controls, has a convenient pour spout and a ingredient slot located on the lid itself. The ingredient slot is not very large, so what ever you add, would have to be cut into very small pieces. The PowerCrush blends ingredients extremely well. The lid, rim and base are made of very thin plastic, and are very light weight. The overall performance of this product was amazing compared to other blenders that I have owned. Works great, love the red color , I use it everyday , sometimes twice a day. Easy clean up. Just make sure you have the base of the glass pitcher on tightly so it doesn't leak liquids, but really seems to be a great blender. Crushes ice easily and evenly.

According with the description. The base has made with a weak plastic. It looks very fragile. I have used it a couple of times. Thus, I cannot give more information about it. However, by the moment it is good for the price.

We've made houmous about 6 times and some pancakes with oats and cottage cheese. It just quit. It doesn't have many speeds, only hi and lo. I rate 0 of 10. Very disappointing. Attempting to check if a fuse has blown, 5 of 6 screws can be removed. The 6th fastener looks loke a rivet! Non-repairable! Dreadfully wasteful. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I WILL STAY AWAY FROM BLACK AND DECKER.

It does not crush the ice at all
