Great floor standing AC unit, it cools down the room in about 20 minutes and just need to keep in i a mode where it restarts every few minutes or a low quiet mode that keeps the room cool all night ( really comfortable and very quiet). In a recent move i removed the AC units outlet adapter ring, and can't find where i put it. So temporarily using a white duct tape that only lasts 2-3 days at most
Have several of these, this particular model has a defective failing circuit board that craps out! You can not buy internal replacement parts anywhere for these black & decker portable AC units. Failing unit is: BPACT08WT 8,000 BTU/H - SACC 4,500 BTU/H
Noise ! I can't sleep
Would give a zero if I could. I've been unable to use my B&D AC for a year because they still haven't sent the replacement Hose Inlet/Outlet Square Adaptor, model # BPAСТ14HWT.
