BLACK+DECKER Stand Fan with Remote, Oscillation, 16 inch, White

I ordered this Black And D3cker 3 speed 65 watt 18 inch pedestal fan for.my Mother. it was really easy to assemble and she uses it everyday. She loves that it comes with a remote. She is in her 80's now so it's great that she can control it from her bed. The only thing I didn't like was that the box was opened and lying on my porch when I got home. the fan actually looked like someone may have tried to assemble it and stopped. It still worked very well though.

Works great so far. Was a little scratched up in spots and difficult to put together.

Just received and assembled my new fan and am extremely disappointed. Firstly, the main reason I ordered this fan over others, was the remote. I purchased online and did not notice that the battery was not included. The box shows CR2032 as the required battery, so that's what I went out and purchased. I install the battery and the remote still won't work - then I notice the remote says CR2025. So now my options are to either give up on the remote entirely or go waste more money, buying ANOTHER battery and hope it works. Between the repeated 40 minute round trips to a store for new batteries and the cost of the batteries themselves, I might as well have got a good quality, more expensive fan. Absolutely ridiculous. Secondly, the knob that is meant to tighten the main fan portion to the stand is snapped, rendering it useless and the fan unsteady. Lastly, it's noisy - sounds like paper is stuck inside the fan and being hit repeatedly. And because of the way the front fan grate “clips” into the rear grate, it's near impossible to pull it apart to try fidget with it and make it more quiet. Plus I'm scared to try, since it's so flimsy. Last thing I need is more broken pieces. The whole product is incredibly cheaply made, light weight plastic, just total trash. And this was all established in the first 5 minutes. I can't imagine it will get any better with time. I don't recommend.

The package was open and damaged when I received it. I didn't bother to assemble and just returned it.

this was supposed to replace a fan that I already had warranty on they refunded me $16.16 and then I received a package that is destroyed and the pieces are broken

I was so excited for this fan cause I've been needing one. Just got it in this morning, just now opening it, just to see it arrived broken. Don't get me wrong looks and feels (weight wise) like a decent fan but I can't even try it out cause it's broke!! I don't want a refund I want a replacement! SMH

Waste of money. They sent me used and broken item. Filled with pet hairs all over. Walmart should ban this fraud company from their website.

Worst experience ever. Save your money and time!!! I ordered 3 fans in a week's time. First fan tilt was broken and would not stand up falls over, second fan tilt was cracked in the back, third fan neck was broken off completely. I knew something was wrong when I heard something spinning in the box before I even opened it!!! Horrible, I'm very upset. This makes 3 fans I've ordered and all 3 are broken! Now I have to haul 3 fans back to Walmart for a refund. This is unfair to me as a disabled consumer!! There should be alternative to returning defective items!!!

This product failed drastically after less than 30 days of use. I was very disappointed that it started making a strange noise when turned on and stopped oscillating about the same time. The small knob would rotate but the fan would not move with it. The brand name is why I tried this fan. The cost was the second reason. I returned it immediately and I'm in the process of waiting for my refund. I would not buy again.
