So easy to use and the remotes are perfect for outdoor decorations! You don't even have to open the door to use them! Seem to be a rugged construction that will be great for outdoor use. No set up other than plugging them in. Definitely will order another set!

This product did exactly what I expected, but I had to order two sets to accomplish it. This 2-pack is actually a set of two so for example, the remotes each work only with one grounded outlet. I thought I was buying two identical items so that although I needed only one grounded outlet, I would have two remotes that could work that outlet. This was to make it possible to turn on and off a set of string lights both inside one building, and to be able to turn on that same set of string lights from a second location nearby. My main worry was that the remote would not be powerful enough to use from the second location which is about 85 feet away, but these work just fine at that distance, through two sets of windows and from a second story.

Bought this as a 2 pack. One of them died after only 2 months. The other one has been going strong for 5 months so far. Really convenient to have yard lighting hooked up to the remote control splitter.
