I wash my face twice per day, once in the morning before work and again when I get home and wash all of the makeup off. This product is amazing. It not only removed all of the fine hairs from my face, but it removed the gunk in my pores. I don't have blackheads, so I can't speak to that. See the attached photos of my first use. Here's what I did. Because I didn't shower this morning (headed out to hike), I soaked a soft washcloth in hot water and put that on my face for a few minutes to open the pores. Then I used my finger to apply a thick layer of this stuff. A thin layer may not be enough to cling to the junk you want removed. I sat under my ceiling fan until it was fully dried. Do not attempt to remove it until it's FULLY dried. Then I went to my 10x mirror and ever so slowly, pulled the mask, from the bottom up. One thing to note, I did not pull straight up. I pulled close to my skin. Kind of like when you remove a bandaid, you don't want to pull straight up. That said, I can't be sure it made it any more effective. I do know that pulling in this way makes it hurt less when you remove it. I did need to go back and redo my chin, though, but it wasn't about the product. You need those pores as open as possible. You know how you can pull your entire lower lip into your mouth and it stretches the skin on your chin out? That's what you need to do for your chin (maybe not everyone). But you need to keep it in that position until it's fully dried and removed. If you go back to a normal position, the skin closes up around the pore and prevents the product from gripping the gunk properly. As you can see by these disgusting photos, it did the job! Immediately following the peel, I put a cold compress on my face to reduce the swelling before I put a thick coat of moisturizer on. The cold compress with help to cool the skin, reduce the swelling and shrink the pores back down. What I didn't want to do was fill my pores up with moisturizer. While this does make your face soft on it's own, I already had some flaking of skin from exfoliation and since this stuff removes everything, including oils, from your skin, you'll want to put that moisturizer back, just not clogging your pores with it. This product is a bit expensive considering how much needs to be used, but it's way worth it. I may be be able to get away with subsequent peels being a bit thinner. I'll have to experiment.
we love the product..
I absolutely love this mask! my skin feels wonderful after using it . I will continually be buying this product as I am super pleased
Good for its purpose; maybe a bit too good. Hurt pretty significantly to pull it off after 30min. maybe I left it on for too long. I've used a different one from Amazon before that was softer on the skin. Also, the black color makes it easy to distinguish skin from mask but gets on anything %26 everything. Make sure to have dark towels or disposable towels if needed for help taking it off.
manipulation the first time I use a face mask I had a little bit of difficulty but once I got used to using it I have no problem whatsoever recommending the use of it
Not as good as the charcoal strips you can buy and the strips dont make nowhere near the mess this does
It's painful to peel off doesn't really work.
Misleading product description. Bought this because the ingredients list was short and clean. When I got it, the ingredients list on the container was twice as long and contains some bad stuff. The fragrance is so pungent it'll give you a headache while you have the product on your nose, Parfum is also known to be a skin irritant and is not good for facial products. Would not have bought if the real ingredients had been listed.
This tube smelled so awful that you could smell it through the packaging. The seal was still on the inside of the tube so I don't know if it was the product that smelled. but it reeked like someone soaked it in Axe cologne. I returned it unopened
We used this 3 times. Read and re-read the instructions. Never extracted a single blackhead. Just colored them even blacker
