Very easy to put together. I seasoned it according to a member on fb and it worked. Cooked onions on griddle and they came out perfect, not burnt and Al dente. Hoping to use it this weekend. I especially like the large size griddle and the grease pot, makes cleanup easy. I chose the hood that comes off because I wanted one less item to clean. Lots of magnets to hold utensils. Definitely worth the money
I've been wanting a Blackstone for some time and my boyfriend surprised me for mother's day. I can't wait to get it seasoned and ready to use for the first time!
Assembly was easy and straight forward. Instructions said to use 2 people. I was able to assemble by myself with patience. Seasoned grill, cooked with onions and smash burgers. Awesome
I definitely would wait for sales and bundle deals as it's the best bang for your buck. The griddle itself is worth it! My family requests all the time for me to cook
I'm excited to see what this thing can do. Assembly was easy, I was impressed with the packaging, the outer box was damaged, but the packaging protected the contents well. The seasoning/ first cook went well and generated good food and taught me that I have much technique to learn. My feedback is, I was disappointed that the left shelf cannot be fully folded down with the propane tank in place. I really would have preferred a lid with hinges that tilted back. Other than that, great griddle.
I've been really impressed with my Blackstone grill so far. It heats evenly, cooks fast, and gives plenty of space to make multiple foods at once. The flat top is easy to clean and perfect for breakfast, burgers, and stir fry. The build quality feels solid and durable, even with frequent use. Overall, it's been a great addition for outdoor cooking and entertaining.
I haven't used it yet, but I took the cover off and tried to hand it one the back with the hooks and it won't hang on the back because the grease catcher is in the way. Poor design.
Overall good, but one of the wheels has a bent welded bracket, therefore the wheel is It sitting straight and bends in upon moving the grill. I am requesting a new wheel assy.
After a full year of use, my experience with the Blackstone griddle has been characterized more by structural frustration than culinary success. While the brand carries significant market "hype," the build quality and engineering of my specific unit failed to meet the basic requirements of an outdoor cooking station. Key Issues & Performance Flaws Structural & Leveling Inconsistencies: From the initial assembly, the unit suffered from a significant lack of balance. The adjustable feet were insufficient to compensate for what appeared to be a warped chassis or uneven frame construction. To achieve a functional cooking surface, I had to resort to using manual blocks to prop up the base—a workaround that should not be necessary for a product at this price point. Poor Grease Management: Because the griddle plate remained uneven despite standard leveling attempts, the integrated grease drainage system was rendered ineffective. Instead of flowing toward the discharge zone, grease pooled in dead spots, creating both a cleaning nightmare and a potential safety hazard. Subpar Burner Performance: The flame consistency has been a persistent issue. The burners provide uneven heat distribution, with frequent "blowouts" or weak flame output that suggests poor regulator quality or internal obstructions. It lacks the reliable, high-BTU performance required for professional-grade searing.
Unpacking the grill I noticed numerous scratches on the black powdered finish. Also the front shelf mounting bracket was bent. So packaging is an issue. Mounting screws for the left and right shelves are pre installed in the frame, and torqued to such an extent that it is impossible to loosen them. Additionally they are not stainless steel, possibly zinc coated so they strip very easily. I had to use vice grips to try and loosen them. After 2.5 hours of work, I decided to return the grill
