This item is great for a small picnic, tailgating, or simple dinner outside. I love the fact that it can be used with little propane tanks and still be adaptive to a 20lb. cylinder. Bought this through WalMart and it was the first time that I used the pickup service through the app. Oh my goodness, it was so easy. When I pulled up and let them know I was there, it was out the door and being loaded in my truck within 60 seconds. Overall, I love this transaction.
For $185 this Blackstone 22 inch grill with stand is perfect. I was hesitant when I read the reviews about the legs on the stand being unstable on this site and others especially when that was not the consensus of others, so I made the investment anyway. Glad I did. The assembly was a breeze, no major assembly needed, just a Phillips to put the handle on the lid. I then realized that the reviews about the legs on the stand being unstable was likely because when they extended the legs, they likely extended the legs all the way out then tried securing the screw in the HOLE at the end of the leg INSTEAD of at the end of the notches because I did the exact same thing. I then read the directions for the stand and when I followed the directions and secured the screws on the last notch instead of thru the hole, the legs were very stable and secured. Then I screwed in the handle to the lid and that was it. It's very sturdy!! This is a great option for the budget friendly who wants a Blackstone grill but don't want to invest hundreds of dollars or if you want options of transporting to the park, camping or a road trip. It's not extremely heavy. The 22in is a great option for a single person or up to a family of 6 in my opinion. It takes the smaller propane tanks thanks to it's versatility and can shop around for inexpensive accessories and covers. Definitely invest in a silicone cover to keep rust away between uses.
We absolutely are in love with this blackstone!! We have it set up in backyard and are able to throw hot dogs or shrimp on it and make a quick dinner. It comes out perfectly every time. We did bacon and eggs on it one Sunday morning and ate outside. It cleans up perfectly and seems to take little effort to clean/use/turn on. My husband set the grill up and he said it took less than 30 minutes. We highly suggest you get this blackstone if you are in the market!
I'm using this more than my grill right now. Had a hard time with temperature at first, but just using it I'm figuring it out. I love that the lid is attached so you don't have to hassle with one that has to hang off the back of the unit. It has all the room I'll ever need and if somehow it gets rust, it hasn't, it can be scraped off and reseasoned.
Top notch blackstone quality in a compact version. i was debating on either this or the suitcase style ones but I'm not a fan of the coating it has. Rolled steel is a bit heavier but totally worth the hassle. Having had the full size one for years snd now getting this one fit camping, game changer. who says you need to eat boring food while camping.
I've been using the Blackstone Adventure Ready 22" griddle and it's honestly perfect for outdoor cooking. The assembly was super straightforward and didn't take long at all. What I love most is how evenly it distributes heat - both burners give great coverage, so I can cook multiple things at once without worrying about cold spots. The ignition is quick and reliable, which makes the whole experience smoother. It's also very portable but still feels sturdy, and the side shelf is a nice touch for extra space. Cleaning is easy too, which is a big plus. Overall, it's a great option if you want something compact but powerful for patios, camping, or backyard use.
We bought this on a budget and were worried that the legs would be unsteady. They are made sturdy. We took this camping 3 states away and is compact for traveling. It came with the conversion kit for a larger propane tank too. Made 8 burgers and onions at the same time.
The Blackstone Adventure Ready Outdoor Griddle is great for cooking any meal, both at home and while traveling. The set up was very easy, there is both the main griddle, which can be used tabletop, as well as a convenient stand. It not only looks attractive and feels very durable, but it cooks amazing! Both sides can be heated. The pancakes I made tasted like a resturant quality. I am very excited to take this camping soon.
Walmart needs to fix their online ordering platform. I ordered the model %232481 with the upgraded hood and stand but instead model 2341 showed up. Tried to order the new model and same thing happened the order switched the item to 2341. Pretty frustrated that the item selected and shown in my order confirmation was not what was delivered but the model 2481 can’t be found anywhere other than Walmart so I guess I’m just gonna stick with this one because the 2481 does not exist yet even though the marketing and pictures all show the newer model? Quite the bait and switch in my opinion.
Defective grill plate. It came warped so when the skillet is on the actual burners it wobbles very annoyingly. Not to mention unsafe if the grease comes forward during cooking. The stands and legs are fine and sturdy but the actual product above that was made defective.
