Ok, so putting together does not take 30 minutes, it takes 2 hours BUT well worth the time investment. The package is shipped so well and there is no opportunity for broken or dented pieces. It is so incredibly helpful to have this now. Between paper towels, the trash bag, drawers for all of my things, it is a must have for anyone that has any size Blackstone griddle!
The cart itself is great, but the delivery was something else. The box was left in our driveway, in front of our garage door. We can't see that part of our driveway from the house. NO NOTIFICATION WAS GIVEN. I had dialysis that morning and found it when I came home. I told my wife to open the garage door when it came, but she knew nothing of it. The box had a little damage, and there is a little ding in the cart, but not enough to hurt anything. I realize the drivers are on a tight schedule, but?
Excellent product. Unfortunately, the directions say that 30 minutes is all you need to put it together. And that is probably close if you have two people, and the shippers didn't play soccer with it. I had to pound out so many pieces to make it fit correctly. I almost gave up. It was very bent up on many sides.
It is just what I needed to compliment the Blackstone griddle! It wasn't as hard to assemble as others have indicated...think of it as an adult puzzle and fun project! It seems like the quality of materials is solid. I have enjoyed using it so far!
Very happy with this product. Went together easily, but . . . One of the marketing stickers pulled the paint off the side table when removing it. It's not perfectly level when assembled but you can adjust the wheels to fix that. Overall, I think it was a good value and just need some touch-up paint.
Overall I'm pleased with the cart. It is a perfect stand for my 22" Blackstone grill and the drawers are great for storing accessories. Assembly takes a couple of hours and is tedious. Fortunately the instructions are good and well illustrated. Fasteners are packaged individually and are labeled by step of assembly. Assembly goes best with two people. It was a great father/child project. While the cart has integrity, once assembled, it would be nice if the steel was a bit thicker. I also wish Blackstone offered an optional cover to protect it from the weather on my deck. It is primarily made of steel so over time rust may be an issue if left unprotected in the weather.
Pros - once it's together, it's a nice cart.....great size for cooking out with the family, drawers are really handy and a perfect height. Cons - putting it together.....have 7 screws left over that either wouldn't line up or holes not threaded properly. It should stay together, but the typical overpriced Chinese cheap quality metal garbage you get these days. I have this and the 36" Blackstone griddle, and in addition to the screwdriver and adjustable wrench they call for tools, make sure you have a rubber mallet and pliers to bend things back into place and to fit stuff together. This one took awhile to get together, mostly due to trying to get stuff to line up and fit together (this was noticeably much worse than putting the griddle together). I put the 36" griddle together by myself which wasn't a big deal, but this thing required 2 people to make it slightly less annoying. I'd give it 5 stars for the cart itself and features, and 1 star for the quality control and building it up.
It's just ok. I would not pay full price. I ran into alignment issues and the shelf and back piece did not line up. A rubber mallet came in handy when putting this together. It did take over 2 hours to put together but I think a lot of that l stems from things just not lining up.
The idea of the cart is wonderful, however the metal is flimsy and cheap, screw holes don't line up. Nothing is marked to know what piece goes where. Screws are labeled great, nothing else is! Drawer tracks are not lined up on the pre assembled sides so now the top drawer doesn't close properly. Would be great is better made, glad I purchased at $100 off, not worth anything over $100 dollars.
Are you kidding?!? There was so much wrong in trying to put this together. Things did not line up correctly, the glue gun that was used to put pieces together were coming apart, pieces were missing… what the hell? I had to send it out to a shop where they could redrill holes and weld pieces together. It is put together but the average person will have a hard time indeed.
