Showed up on time,( had to help driver or he'd had to roll it up the driveway) Makes the best pizza I've ever had, friend just came back from Italy and he said mine was better. I'll never order delivery again. only takes 5 min to heat up and 10 min to cook.
Excellent product. There was no manual in the box so that would be nice to have. Also oven sits on stand and there are no screws long enough to attach and secure to the stand. We don’t know if we are missing longer screws or if it is right because we don’t have the manual. Did a chat can’t find phone number and was told they are out of manuals and will print one out and mail but haven’t gotten it. We love the oven overall. Just for the price would have been nice to have instructions so we aren’t guessing.
What a cool oven! We’ve had it for a month and are loving it! We can’t stop making pizza! We love our Blackstone products! Great quality, easy to use, and so much fun having it at home whether for a simple pizza night, or for when friends are over! Pizza is done so quick!
This oven is fantastic! Takes about 60-90 min to assemble, but nothing too complicated. I’ve only used it once but it worked great. Used the Blackstone recipe for the NY fast rising dough and made 3 pizzas. Had the temp right around 850 degrees and each one cooked in around 90-100 seconds. They weren’t very crispy, so I’ll need to play around with either hotter temp or slightly longer in the oven. Overall, great product (so far) !
I have been holding off getting a pizza oven and I am glad I did. The turntable makes cooking the pizza evenly a breeze. I have only used a brick pizza oven before and the Blackstone is so much better. Our first batch came out great and am looking forward to trying other things. Don't settle for less, go for the best.
We love it… one frustrating problem, though, is the button that stops/starts the pizza stone from spinning does not work. When we paid this much for a product I would expect for it to work properly. We didn’t know it wasn’t working until it was fully assembled and you can’t really do anything at that point.
Very flimsy thermometer. Broke getting out of box. Not real user friendly to get to specific temps. For the money you would like to see an electronic control for temperature targets like the pellet grills. But overall it works very well. Just takes a lot of practice to get temps where you want them.
Generally, the fit and finish of the oven is well done and I would give the unit a five star rating except ... the unit arrived with damaged and torn open packaging, no parts were affected. Instructions for assembly are clear and it took me approximately an hour to complete. Now, the reasons for my three star rating are: two missing screws holding the oven stainless steel surround together ... even with photos clearly identifying the missing screws I was sent the wrong screws and after a second attempt I did receive the correct size screws. The turntable top screw holes were improperly drilled and a new turntable was required, the temp gauge was broken and a new gauge was required. It took much longer than expect to get the replacement parts. Finally, five stars to customer service consultant E'Lana for her follow up and help. I share this as constructive feedback in hopes Blackstone will work to eliminate these QC failures.
Bought one last year used about 4 times and it quit rotating , so I just been spinning it with an oven mitt on but burnt myself a few times , so I quit using it , I still have problems lighting it , it takes awhile to actually be able to control the flame , I have to hold in knob til it really warms up ,, I guess I was expecting more quality for the price I paid , I mean it worked awesome when rotisserie was spinning the stone ,, once I got flame to adjust Disappointed in OhiO
Although we paid for our pizza oven over a month ago, we haven't been able to use yet, as several of the components we received were dented, scratched, and even missing parts (rivets and screws that were supposed to be already installed). The wheels look like they've been over rough concrete before we've even used. The customer support person I finally tracked down was very nice, and shipped replacement parts to us, which we just received. Again, immediately out of the box, a dent in the panel, but it does fit this time. We hope to use the oven soon, but have to say, am a little nervous to use this equipment that heats up EXTREMELY high when it feels like we got a returned unit, or at the very least, poor quality control at Blackstone.
