Solid dashcam! Worth the price. Would work at its best if your car has wifi connection but even without it, after hardwiring the camera front and back you're still able to get good footage and it detects all kinds of stops, possible hits and other sudden movements.
The install took a bit of time to get right, including figuring out which fuses to tap, which fuse taps to buy, etc. but after installing in one car, it was much faster to do in our second car. And the dash cam itself works great!
Great product and really puts my mind at ease once installed!
Has power cut off built in now. Keeps the car battery from dying. Recording quality is great.
Does the job fantastically!
While I haven't got around to installing the GPS, I will take this opportunity to say that whether or not I email or use the chat portal, BBMC is fast in response time and shipping. Oh and they are very courteous. It's for these reasons I will keep coming back! Keep up the good work!
This is our second installation through BlackboxMyCar. The install and the unit is good. Our one concern was a small bit of gouging on our new car during the installation. This buffs out easily enough, but I would hope the shop would take better care.
Camera seems great so far. Video quality is plenty clear enough for my needs. Installation was easy, definitely worth getting the install tool kit and fuse taps with your order if you are going to hardwire. Connection to app was simple too. Shipped within a day and arrived the next.
Excellent fast shipping. Product installed easily- hard wiring kit was excellent. Instructions on black box website were very helpful for hardwiring installation as were the videos. It was easy to install with no previous experience. Very happy overall and would definitely buy from black box again. Great communication from the website as well about shipping and confirmation I received it.
Great camera to protect your car. The team at BlackboxMyCar are great to deal with. After ordering my dashcam they were quick to reply back apologizing for being out of stock and gave me a date when they would have more. With great past and present service with them I didn't mind the wait.
