Blackweb Universal RG6 Quad-Shield Punch-Kit

The kit came with everything I needed to complete job . The only complaint I have is the cables strip easily . But overall good product and did the job .

The tester and related tools worked great to get the job done. This kit it light weight and easy for me to take with me anywhere. I would diffidently recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works perfectly, high quality, great value. Only dropping one star because of lack of written instructions in the package. The trimmer works great, easily slicing through the shielding mesh. Make a few "test cuts" while adjusting the set screws to get the right depths for the two cuts it makes. Hardest step is inserting the fitting onto the cable... make sure you press and wriggle it on enough so that the face of the inner sheath becomes flush with the inner base of the fitting. Then insert into crimp tool to finish the job

I really wanted to use the professional press on connections vs. the push on type . This tool made the job simple and easy . The cable cutter and press on tool helped make short work of this task . The end connectors that came with the set worked like a charm . I would definitely buy this again if needed .

Works as described. However, instructions could be a bit clearer for the novice cable maker. Took me 5 tries to get it right.

I'm not an electrician, but was easily able to use the crimping tool and put the cable ends on exactly at my desired length for the cables. If you need to do a lot of custom cabling then I would recommend this product for you.

you would be better off stripping the wire with a box cutter and putting on a twist fitting. it would be cheaper and have a faster, better, and easier result. I have been doing cable for years and this gear is absolute junk. do not buy it.
