Everything to like, nothing really to hate. I went through a heli phase 10yrs ago. Never got great at flying, just some inverted. So I got back in and my choice was this or mcpx bl2. I think this is way, way better. I had the old mcpx so I tried this, tiny bit bigger, but did 1st flip in front yard yesterday. That's why I wanted it, practice at home. I wrecked it, my fault. But no servos are working?. Hit tail first into tree lol. Practicing backwards flight. So I bought another 120 lol. Love this heli, just wonder why all 3 servos died???. Oh well. I'll work on it, always good to have 2!
I'm no 3-D pilot, but had this heli for a couple weeks now, and boy, for a pretty novice pilot like myself, it has a ROCK SOLID stable hover, which inspires one to try to work on other aspects of flying helis! When your whole flight is not based around just trying to hover in one place, it opens up a lot of doors! lol I get nice long flight times, timer on my NX-8 is set for 6 minutes, BUT I use an OMP hobbies 350 mah 2 S battery, which I only slightly had to modify the helis battery bay to accept. Just sanded down the little bumps they have in there to hold the slightly smaller Spektrum battery. So far, I'm LOVING this little guy! Canopy is easy peasy to take on and off too. Sometimes I fly some of my helis without the canopy as it's a hassle to put on for a 4 minute flight, but this one goes on and comes off nice n easy. The direct drive is super quiet, and of course, has a nice low parts count. A lot less to go wrong, and cheaper to maintain. So far haven't had a crash, but videos I've seen on YT show people bashing this thing in to the sides of barns and on concrete, and they pick it up, check controls, and fly it again! I think Horizon's got a winner with this one! Even though the videos show it doing all sorts of crazy tricks, it's also PERFECT for beginners! Don't hesitate, pull the trigger and order this lil guy!
