The Blaids hearing aids are an excellent value and provide more adustments than the others you see at twice the price. I have SEVERE-PROFOUND hearing loss. I am able to self-adjust these to the extent that my hearing loss is not a problem. Note I have worn aids for over 10 years. I've paid $2k to $400 per pair and these are as good as any. I highly prefer non-rechargeable devices, because I don't like to carry a charger and wait for charging. Just keep extra batteries in glove box, office and home. No charger to use or lose. I would have paid full MSRP price for these. I was lucky enough to get a Walmart black friday deal for about half-price. WALMARTS PRICE BEAT THEIR MAJOR SHIP-TO HOME PRICE and even the manufacturer's website. Lastly, the app for these allows unlimited adjustments with the app - it has an equalizer and hearing test that is not mandatory. Don't hesitate to try these before the other OTC hearing aids.
First time using hearing aids and very happy with them. Easy to set up and did the hearing test on my phone!
They work great! I have moderate to severe hearing loss and I much prefer the battery hearing aids as opposed to the rechargable ones. I'm not sure yet how long the battery will last I think it said 3-5 days. I really appreciate that these are made in the USA.
The hearing aids are very nice. I couldn't get them to fit into my ears comfortably. I assume that is due to my sensitive and small ear canals. I did have a problem seeing the right and left markings as they were so tiny my old eyesight couldn't see the marks. Because of that I had the aides in the wrong ears to be discovered by the very nice and office similar testing. So I had to start over and try to figure out what to do. It took me quite a long time to try to have the aides selected to comfortably match my hearing loss. Then after that was accomplished, I decided to watch some TV, but still had to turn it up too much. And my earlobes were hurting. I was used to wearing hearing aids, but these were larger than my old ones. I was surprised and impressed with the packaging and product! It just doesn't work for my ears.
They are not actually Bluetooth hearing aides. They do connect to a Bluetooth app so that you can set them up, but they can not connect to other Bluetooth capable items ie phone. Also seems like at least a few times a day I have to go back in and run the program so that the hearing aids go back to the settings I've programmed, not sure why. I am still am not used to them since I'm used to aids that turn up all sounds. However, They are very similar to aids I've had in the past that I've pain 1000s of $$ for, after insurance so I'm very satisfied with the price of the product. They are vert nice looking. I hope I can get used to them soon, if not I might have to call in to get help reprogramming
overall pretty decent except for the battery life,that's bad. I will be returning these and purchasing the rechargeable ones
Very hard to keep them working. every time the battery is changed, you worry they dont start worki h again. This day my left one didnt. Cheap made.
I dislike that I can't get the chirping to stop! I've given the hearing aids many tries and I cannot adjust to the ear piercing sounds. My son has tried all we know to try with little success. I will probably return the hearing aids. I do like how easy they are to put in and to remove.
I am so frustrated with Walmart and the seller. The first time I ordered these hearing aids, the package arrived with only one in the box. I returned that package. The second time I ordered, they were undeliverable due to the incorrect address put by the seller and FedEx never delivered it. It is over a month and a half later and I still have a hold on my account for $449. Walmart refuses to refund me the money. Buy them on Amazon, it's safer.
Very hard to set up and couldn't get the volume high for my Mother-in-law (94 years old) to hear above a whisper. i belive the hearing aid would work for slight to moderate hearing loss
