Blaupunkt 6.8" In Dash Touchscreen Receiver, Apple Carplay/and roid Auto

My husband just got a new truck and his stock radio came compatible with android auto. I would watch him send and receive text messages, view navagation hands-free and play his music. I was so jealous! My car is a 2013 and doesn't have that. How happy I was to get this receiver! It's like I have a new car! Beautiful, clear large display. The usb is easy to access (unlike my old set up where I had to contort my body to reach the usb plug at the bottom of the armrest). I love being able to be completely hand's free with texts, maps and music. I have an android phone and it synched seamlessly with it. Installation was easy. I'm really pleased with this unit and would highly recommend it.

I received this Blaupunkt 6.8 InDash TouchScreen Receiver, Apple Carplay/Android Auto for free through the Walmart Spark Reviewer's program. I had to get this professionally installed in my vehicle. You can attempt to do this yourself I guess if you feel comfortable with wiring and such in your car but I would highly recommend you get this done by a professional if you want it to work correctly. That aside, I use this with an android device, a Samsung Galaxy S9 to be more specific, and it works great with it! I'm able to play music and take calls through the device without even touching my phone. I just put it on car mode and let the device do all of the work. It really is a cool little gadget and I wish I had one sooner! It lets you upgrade your car to do things like fancier, more expensive, and newer cars do! I have a 02 Honda Civic so it is definitely an upgrade when it comes to my car. It being able to display and bring up google maps has been the most help while driving and navigating around. A lot easier than just trying to look and hear it on my phone while its in the holder. Definitely would recommend!

I haven't installed it yet but seems to be good quality. Waiting on the rest of my audio components to install it.

This radio head unit itself is very good. I ordered 2 of these units. One box did not have the wire harness that was needed, and the other box was missing the RCA output harness. Both did not come with the remote control as pictured in the listing. The actual box and instruction manual does not mention a remote at all. So I'm highly disappointed with the vendor who actually sold the radio's but I'm happy with the radio's myself. I was able to go on amazon and purchase the correct power harness. Sure, I could have returned them both but I'm 100% positive they would have just resold them to the next person.

We put this in our 18 year old daughter's Toyota Camry and she loves it! It was super easy to install, I think it took my husband like not even 30 minutes to install it. The sound is great and the functions are nice. The only cons is you have to touch a button to get the volume to pop up on the screen and then slide it back and forth, this is kind of difficult to do while driving especially if you're a newer driver. You don't want to take your eyes off of the rode. The only other downfall is sometimes the touch screen doesn't read your touch. Most of the time it works well but every so often you have to touch a few times to get it to register.

Great value, great sound. Would have kept it it I could have got it working with Apple CarPlay. It did work great with Android Auto and Bluetooth connections

The pic of box and what item I was sent was not the same. We decided to keep it since it's a Christmas gift.

What does radio doesn’t tell you is that you have an external microphone that must be connected in order to use Siri properly There is Absolutley no help the Tech-support number for blaupunkt has been disconnected! The stereo seems awesome but id the features dont work properly what good is it ?
