Everything you need to switch out the displays is included in the box unless you need a radio pull tool (which naturally I would have to get lol). It's all clearly labeled making it much easier to switch. Works great and now I no longer have to use an aux cord to play my music from my phone. Also nice since I have friends who have the iPhone without the aux port & my original radio did not have Bluetooth function. Over all it's nice, great size & fit with a nice sized touch screen disability. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade their car.
I love this radio. I got it just in time because my old radio was starting to malfunction and I was looking to buy a new one. I love the fact it is a touch screen, I just wish I could add Sirius radio so I wouldn't have to run Sirius through my Bluetooth from my phone. other than that, it is a great radio!
With some YouTube video help, we figured out how to install it. We probably should have just gone to a place, but that wouldn't have been cheap. It upgraded our 2001 Chevy Trail Blazer fine! Easy to use. No complaints yet. We still need to test it for days or weeks.
This sound system has it all. What's more, it doesn't matter if you're an Apple or an Android user, as it, works with both applications. The touch screen is vibrant & comes pre loaded with apps to get you started. The addition of a downloaded sub woofer & you are off to, bass heavy, bliss. I'd highly recommend this device for music lovers of all genres.
This reciever works really good. It has a big 6.8 inch touch screen that makes it easier to control and activate functions. It's capatible with Siri eyes. It supports mp3, mp4, 3Gp, Avi, and Jpeg. It has an SD card slot, am/fm tuner, Aux input, USB port with charging function, Apple Carplay, Hi-Fi lossless music, supports 1080p video, DSP effect, Android Auto, and Bluetooth 4.2. This reciever has excellent sound quality once it's installed properly. The controls and functions are easy to use. In the box it comes with reciever of course, the wiring harness, user manual, and warranty card. This reciever allows you to listen to your music on your phone, answer and recieve calls, as well as other things. If you're looking for a good reciever that has these capabilities and has a good sound quality this is the one for you.
Just in general, radio seems ok. Replacing a Binzi 6.8 touchscreen radio which emitted smoke after 1 month of use. Unlike that radio, the Blaupunkt seems to be of much better quality
I got used different BLAUPUNKT stereo with lot of scratches on screen and not even have screen protector in it.
Similar to other reviews, I installed this unit in January. A week ago we had a day in '90s and boom, all the button functions went out. The only way to change the volume is to unplug the USB, go to settings > volume control > and adjust it there. The touchscreen still works for skipping, pausing, and app selection. Also, the equalizer offers a minimum of 80 Hz on the subwoofer output. The unit will accept a rearview camera input. You have to make sure you ground the green park line and connect the purple reverse to your 12V connection from your RCA cable that is connected to your camera.
Was delivered a faulty product and then delayed on response to a return of product ultimately advising me that they could not accept the return due to their 30 policy. If they would have attended me in a timely manner I would have never passed the 30 days!
This thing worked great for about a month. Then summer came around and in Cali it was triple digits. The volume buttons and all the side panel just stopped functioning. I tried to return it but just missed my window and they wouldn't accept it so I'm stuck with a $200 paper weight… if it gets hot in your area. Don't buy this
