Blaze 20-Inch Cast Aluminum Kamado Grill - BLZ-20-KAMADO

I did a some research into aluminum vs ceramic for a kamado and finally decided the aluminum had distinct features worth trying, especially given the thickness of it. Given I have considerable experience with a ceramic kamado, time will tell how the aluminum compares. The fit and finish is excellent.

I was skeptical having owned a Big Green Egg for the past 15 years. But this Blaze Kamado does everything the Egg does and I don't have to worry about rusted hinge assemblies, cracked ceramics, etc. I can easily see myself enjoying this for the next few decades.

Bought right before 4th of July and used it for 3 days in a row! Gets very hot very quickly and easy to regulate temperature. Very well built! Top of the line Kamado and I researched for years before purchasing. Looking to purchase Blaze outdoor refrigerator and power burner also. I'm all in!

Shipping packaging was awesome. Quality is evident in the unit itself, the hardware, and grates. Minor issue (not with the unit) was quickly and very pleasantly attended to by Blaze customer service. I call it a cooker, because it is so much more than just a grill or a smoker. My first "hot" cook was steaks, which came out perfect with a temperature over 600 degrees. My first "low and slow" cook was ribs, Blaze held temperature (270) perfectly.

Ashley with customer service was completely incredible to work she accomplished everything and we are amazed with our Blaze kamado smoker , I just added the side shelves and loving how it works... it's built like a tank and with top quality everything !! The ground underneath our foundation melted 5 inches but this smoker said "Fire? Never hear of it? This is my literal job!" Not a scratch, not a smudge nor an ash. It literally looks like we lost our home and then bought a smoker. So wow 10/10 would recommend.

This is my first Kamado and first charcoal grill. I have been able to both grill and smoke and have a solid base to learn on. The grill is ridiculously sturdy, easy to clean and just a great piece of equipment

This kamado is amazing my first cook was pork butt smoked . once dialed in at 250 degrees never had to touch anything for 9 hours very very pleased at how well the kamado cooks
