These chairs have worked well for us. I moved my pillow below the clips for the canopy and it can easily slide from lumbar support to neck support. My husband's is above the clips and perfect for his neck support. I have only needed the canopy once, but it adjusted well and was stable.
The side tables are only stable on the right side due to the support angles, but they do a good job holding drinks, devices, books, small speaker, etc. It would be great to have a strap to hold them closed during transport. Make sure to keep your hands on top of the armrests when reclining and only grab the lock rings once stopped; there are some pinch points that got my son's finger when he wasn't careful. However, he does prefer these chairs over the standard camp chairs and we will be buying more.
