[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Blistex cold sore treatments to try. I just now got a cold sore and I’m not putting what that looks like on here. If you have had one you will understand. I did use both treatments. I used the small tube first until there was some pain to the touch so then I used the second and after applying it to my lip it was mere seconds later that some of the pain did go away where I could actually put my finger on the sore. I would definitely recommend getting theses to use to shorten the time and pain in having a cold sore.

I like that it helps soothe and protect while also making me feel more comfortable and confident when dealing with a dreaded cold sore. As soon as I feel one coming in I break out this treatment kit and allow it to work its magic. I typically use it a night because I don’t mind being greasy during those times and in the morning, the healing has started. Just very thankful for this powerful little product. It’s small, but it’s mighty. It’s not an overnight cure, but it does start the healing process and the sooner you use it the better the better the results. Even if you don’t get cold sores often, you should keep one of these near by!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Blistex Cold Sore Treatment Cream and the Cold Sore Fast-Acting Pain Relief Lip Protectant, and I’m really happy with them. The lip protectant comes in a small clear tube (it did take me a little while to open), but once applied, it immediately eased the pain from my cold sore. The treatment cream itself is white and easy to apply. When I first opened the package, I accidentally cut into the side and got some on my finger. It has a slight numbing sensation, which was actually reassuring. Between the two, they not only helped reduce the discomfort but also made me feel like my cold sore would heal faster. Overall, I’m pleased with how effective these are and will keep them on hand for future flare-ups. There is no noticeable scent to the product.
