Blistex Lip Medex, 0.25 oz. Medicated Lip Balm Jar, One Count

A good product

I came across this at a retailer. I have the tube form, and I bought the jar. When I got home, I opened it, and applied it right on a cold sore, and used it. I didn't need a lot of product. A little went a long way. The next day, my cold sore dried out, and is healing. I will be buying this instead of my go-to. I will be keeping this around from now on.

I've been using Blistex for close to 8 years now and it's been working so well for me, hence I still use it till today. I have contact cheilitis which means I have an allergic reaction to lip balms/lip sticks or rather anything with allergens that trigger my lips to itch, swell and become chapped. Blistex Medex is the only lip therapy that works for me and no matter how expensive it is, I cannot live without it.

i've kept a container of Lip Medex in my pocket since 1990, i buy it by the 12pk case, i absolutely love the stuff, i fish 4-5 days a week, ride my motorcycle daily and am always out in the sun/wind so lips tend to dry and crack if you don't keep them moisturized. i absolutely love Lip Medex and have never had a single complaint with it, but i have on a few occasions when out in the Gulf of America fishign all day in blistering sun and 25+ knot winds gotten sunburn on my lower lip. i'm not sure what the below reviews are that claim it's changed or has a bad smell, it's the same as it's always been.

I like this product and have been long time user, I contacted scram officer and asked if it was safe to use without alcohol detection he said the 1.0 alcohol was not enough to read and is scram approved product. So thank you Blistex

Have used this for years and haven't found anything better. Only complaint is that a pot is messy and inconvenient. Having a tube option would be amazing. The cherry squeeze tubes are not the same formula and it's not a great product.

I have used this for many years. since the early 90's. I keep one in my pocket. My wife uses it. Now both my kids keep one on them. I love this product. Really helps my lips in the winter time. I give it a thumbs 👍 up.

I've never had issues with Blistex products before. My lips got very dry, cold, and cracked the other day and desperately needed something. This seemed like a deal with the price and how much you get, but immediately after putting it on, I realized it was a mistake. The smell was horrid, it almost has a musky/tobacco smell to it. Since I had never tried this before, maybe it was the ingredients, I wasn't sure. I did my best to keep it on despite the smell. It seemed like it might be ok, a little irritation because the cracks on my lip, but I could handle that. The smell was far too overwhelming though. The fact that it goes right under your nose, you'd think this would at least smell better, at the very least, neutral. Cannot use the remaining jars in this three pack, wasted money and time.

I've been using the blistex pot for years and years but recently started to notice a burning sensation. I don't know if there's been a formula change, but I'm highly allergic to this now. Checked the ingredient list and beeswax is included now(very allergic to it) I only used this product because it never included it. Throwing it all away and having to find a vegan chapstick.
