Blistex sooths, calms, the discomfort, pain, from common cold sore outbreaks. PS I would like to know what about covid meant I got no cold sores. I was stressed, dleepless. I believe not being out where others with infection outbreak are. Mystery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Blistex Maximum Hydration Lip Ointment lives up to its name. I used this on my slightly sunburnt lips. The lip applicator made it easy to apply. It has a minty scent with a little tingly feel and left my lips with a good lipgloss shine. The ointment helped my sunburnt lips within using it for 24 hour. The dryness was gone and it left my lips feeling smooth and soft.

It apples easily, and it has that distinct Blistex smell that just makes you feel like it's working! Really like the way it almost makes my lips feel plumper!

I love the applicator tip as well, almost like you're putting on a nice little lip gloss (and it leaves your lips looking like you did too!). The only part I don't love is that it smells a bit strong and like a medicine but for what it does for my lips, totally worth it.

However, the smell is so horrible that I had to wipe it off just after 10 minutes. I get it that it's medicated but smell like this should not be applied right under the nose. Other than that, the consistency is good and packaging is perfect but I'm not going to use this ointment.
