love these things. Take that large pot that you love and save a lot of dirt. Water drains so no need for rocks or anything else to weigh down your plants

Exactly what I needed to make an overly deep planter the right depth for my pothos. Cheese cloth on the ups a daisy keeps the dirt from falling through the holes.

A 8 inch would have worked better but I don't see a size smaller than 10 inch. While I haven't used it yet, I am a bit concerned about the lip around it as far as drainage goes. The indented lip is small so it might not be a problem, however. This is the first time I have seen such a product and overall it looks pretty good in a drainage aspect. Might need a small hard plastic disk screen for one of the large holes unless you're not putting dirt directly in it. Please, make smaller sizes!

it does a good job of providing a shelf for the plants to sit on meaning I use less dirt in the pot and there's better drainage

I bought it for a big planter and this helped save on the amount of soil I added. I have to see how it will hold up.
