Bloom by Kate Spade, 3.3 oz EDT Spray for Women

So, I love perfumes and body mists, and have a collection I've acquired through the years. I've been wanting to try a Kate Spade perfume for some time, and so I decided to order this Kate Spade "Bloom" perfume. I love that the perfume came in excellent shape, with no leaks or breaking of the bottle or lid. The perfume is presented in a lovely box, which could make for a great gift idea. This perfume is unlike many perfumes I typically go for, which are more sweet or gourmand. However, this perfume smells floral and sweet in a different way. It is a bit strong (as it is a perfume, not a body mist), but as it dries down it mixes well with my body chemistry. I love how chic and sophisticated this fragrance smells! I am very happy with this perfume, and I love how pretty the bottle and smell is. I ordered this when it was on sale, and I feel its definitely a good value for a high quality/luxury perfume. I'm glad I bought this Kate Spade perfume, and would recommend it to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This perfume scent is extremely light and subtle. It’s perfect for every day use. And with this bottle size, it would definitely last you very long time. it smells like flowers, but not too overwhelming.

I opened the perfume, the lid was dirty and there was something small floating inside. Not sure if they are real.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try New York Bloom. In my mind I was thinking this would be a perfect spring floral type scent. My first spray was a generous one because one can never spray too much of a floral perfume on them. Imagine my disappointment when out of the bottle came a scent that reminded me more of dollar store perfume than designer perfume. For the record I am a fan of many of Kate Spade’s perfumes which I guess is why this one caught me off guard. It’s not a sweet floral type of smell. The product description describes this scent as “a floral green musky fragrance that takes you into a blooming universe of pastel tones”. I can smell floral green musky, but my nose and my brain are unable to identify the blooming pastel tones. The description also notes that there are “hints of granny smith apple and sweet orange essence along with bright notes of white camelia blossoming in a sensual woody trail.” I’m on the fence about the granny apple and sweet orange and while I can’t identify them, my daughter said she can but just barely. I love white camelia and know that smell from anywhere, with my eyes closed. It’s not only not bright, it's not even detectable. The woodsy is spot on though. I’m really not sure where this perfume went wrong. Kate Spade New York smells great but this one, not so much. The scent does not last long at all. For me that was a good think because I didn’t like it. But if you do like it you will not be happy to spend a good chunk of money on a designer perfume that only lasts for 15 min. I realize everyone is different regarding perfumes, but I would recommend that you buy this one only after you have smelled it first. It’s probably not a good one to just randomly pick out online based on the bottle and name.

The perfume is water down. Usually this perfume lasts all day and you can smell it while you’re walking past someone however this perfume does not last all day. You can’t really smell it on me if fades fast and it smells like a lot of alcohol is in it. I’m very disappointed.
