Blower Motor Resistor - Compatible with 1994 - 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007

Lost the low fan speed on my 2001 Ram 2500. Read up on the internet and found out it was likely this part. Put this part in and it fixed the problem. I now have all fan speeds available again. No need to take apart dash. Need a stubby #2 phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws. Unplug connector after you lower it out of the hole it is mounted in. Plug in the new one and jiggle it back up into the mounting hole. It is under the glove box, about the middle of the glove box, and you will see the wires leading to it's electrical connector.

My 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 Diesel heater/AC blower motor only worked on "High". This resistor is a snap to replace-2 screws under glove box. (Be sure to vacuum old leaves out of opening b-4 installing new resistor). After quick replacement, blower works on all levels!!! THANKS PartsGeek for sourcing this solution!!!!!

After purchasing the climate control module that didn't fix my fan control issue, the sales staff recommended the blower motor resister. That was the fix and much easier to install. Thanks.
