This brand is perfect for my Boston. No food allergies w this one. Blue Buffalo makes a HIGH quality product and it's CONSISTENT. As we all know vet bills are high if u can't get your small dog dialed in on a good brand you can trust. Great value too.

Fixed my shih-tzu's puking issue. It wasn't he was throwing up after eating it was always bile, now that he's been eating this goodbye bile puke. 🤮

This food does not upset my pet's allergies

My dog absolutely loves the Blue Buffalo BLUE Basics Grain-Free Lamb and Potato recipe! The ingredients are high quality and easy to digest, which is great for dogs with sensitive stomachs. I noticed her coat looks shinier and she has more energy since switching to this food. I appreciate that it's grain-free and doesn't have any artificial flavors or fillers. The packaging is also sturdy and reseals well to keep the food fresh.

I have a small dog that had stomach issues with whatever she ate. We have a strict rule with her that she got no table food due to it making it worse. So when I got my new puppy 2 years ago we switched to Blue Buffalo Basics Skin & Stomach Care, Grain Free Natural Adult Small Breed Dry Dog Food, Lamb & Potato and my older girl's stomach issues completely stopped. I will not go back. We now have 2 new puppies that will get the same food. I cant say enough good things about this! (lol no more messes to clen up :) )

Good small breed food. My Chihuahua has a chicken allergy! This food helps keep her from itching. Small kibble for small pups mouths.

I'm on the fence about this dog food as both pugs are having skin issues. Other than that it's really hard to find a dog food w/o ANY poultry or poultry fats. This is one of the few and the pugs will eat it. I've been adding their wet food (also Blue Buffalo) to this, but it has rice and that could be the issue. They were perfect till I started messing with their food.

This has been the only dry dog food my 16 year old Shih-tzu hasn't been allergic to for the past 7 years. However, I can tell that the ingredients have somewhat changed. I notice little sharp hair particles in the dry dog food.

Why do they not offer a 4 lb. bag for small breeds? My 6 lb. maltese eats 2 tablespoons of dry food a day. A 4 lb. bag lasts 4 months. I have to throw away 2/3 of the 11 lb. bag after 4 months.
