We have a chihuahua who is relatively obedient, and very eager to please. So, in the interests of a raising a better-and-better-behaved dog, I want to recognize her efforts, in a way she appreciates. So treats are a great way for us to show her we love her and noticed her efforts. She really is quite small, so regular size treats are a bit big for her. So, we are really happy with these tiny treats! Our dog loves them, they are her favorite treat I've ever given her. They really found the secret formula here. I can give her a few of these each day to reinforce her good behaviors and getting one of these cute little heart treats is definitely a good motivator for her.
My dog loves them he actually can't get enough of them my German shepherd is only 6 months and has a very sensitive stomach but because this product is made of real chicken and contains no byproduct and other strange additives its great for him. And did I mention that it has Omega 3 fatty acids that supports developing
I have a Shih Tzu and he is a very iffy eater, I have purchased different products for him to eat and he refuses to eat them. I gave him the Blue Buffalo Bits Soft-Moist Training Dog Treats, Chicken Recipe, 4 oz. he ate them up. They are moist little nuggets that he appear to love. I will purchase Blue Buffalo Bits Soft-Moist Training Dog Treats, Chicken Recipe for him. And I recommend this product to my friends and family.
These are dog-training necessities. There are plenty of methods to train your dog, but they all require some of the basic and common things, such as HIGH VALUE TREATS. You hear this phrase thrown around, but many people don’t really get what “high value treats” really are, as I’ve come to find out. They aren’t what people think are more costly, smells better, OR tastes better; it’s what YOUR DOG and ONLY your dog thinks are “exceptional” treats and treats they only get on RARE occasions, and thus they consider it “high value”. It has nothing to do with monetary value. A few common traits of high value treats to dogs are usually 1. soft and moist treats, 2. smells like and usually made of real meat, and 3. doesn't taste like their usual dog food. These Buffalo Bits fits all of these criteria. Therefore, I say this with plenty of experience, that these are treats that 80% of picky dogs will fall for. The only exception are those 20% of picky dogs that may turn up their nose at it. That’s what makes finding the right training treats so difficult… My dogs go crazy for these. One of my dogs only has tastes for REAL meat. Anything else, she’ll turn her nose up at it. She’s picky like that. It’s why I trust Blue Buffalo treats. The treats are small and a great size already to train dogs with, but since I’m always training my dogs, I like to break these treats even smaller to make them last longer… They’re moist, but not wet, so they are nice to put inside a training pouch without a mess. I much prefer these treats than making my own treats. I used to do just boiled chicken, but you know… they get too messy for a training pouch. It’s also too much work to dehydrate my own meat since they have a shelf life of about week or so. These are great treats at a good value; plus they don’t taste like regular dog food. Tip 1: The key is to ONLY pull these treats out during training, AND keep training WITH these training treats for only 5 minutes at a time (preferably per day, and not multiple times a day). You can continue training your dog for longer, but the longer you keep the treats out, the easier the dog will grow tire of it (and that’s why many people think that training treats are not very useful). It’s best to use these amazing Blue Buffalo training treats for each phase of training “new” commands. Once you pass the first few days of that phase, discontinue the treats. Then recontinue these treats on the next phase of “new” commands (it’s like teaching kids; you only want to teach new things little at a time). Tip 2: Keep the dog treats in the retail bag, then double the protection with another zip lock bag. Keep it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh for as long as possible (so it doesn’t grow stale from exposure to the air). This should sit nicely for 1-2 months or longer if all goes well.
Blue Buffalo Bits Soft-Moist Chicken Recipe Training Dog Treats. Blue Buffalo is a good brand that is trusted by many pet owners. These little cute heart-shaped pet chicken chews choose are a good size container and can last as treats for at least two weeks to a month. The convenient zipper bag keeps the product fresh. Oftentimes animal products smell very strange and put off. This to me smell kind of like roasted chicken. Just a bit stronger. There are small little nugget type treats that our fur babies loved. I actually got our pups to sit lay down and roll over with amazing ease. Great little product for the puppies!
I have a Border Collie and she loves these treats. She is always been a good listener and recently has gotten braver and goes further from us when she is off leash. I use these treats to teach her not to leave the block and so far so good. She gets to the edge and I give her a treat when I tell her to stay. Great treat and great dog!
The Blue Buffalo treats have been great for training my dog. These tasty morsels are made with no meat by products and enhanced with DHA an Omega -3 fatty acid are super nutritional and have the best healthy ingredients that promote my dogs health including skin, strong coat & brain function levels. Our dog is very picky eater and he really likes these Bits. We agree it helps to keep our dog healthy and beautiful inside as well as outside maintaining a thick outer coat and soft hair. Our dog has been having a great attitude we believe because of the special DHA Omega 3 fatty acids & other important ingredients that Blue Buffalo CO includes in its special production. I felt bad because my dog has been deprived of healthy snack food until this product has been available. I know I am feeding him the most healthy-nutricional-tasty-snack. I would recommend these great bits to any dog owner and there trainer.
This dog treat is just as described for a dog, they are soft, moist, and made of good quality and my dog does whatever trick you want her to do just for this treat. I love it and will purchase a bag in the near future. I read and approved the ingredients as a dog owner. Blue has a good reputation of making great quality dog products and each treat has a nice shape to it. I recommend for anyone to buy their products as a good dog owner.
Blue Buffalo has done it again with a tasty and delicious food my dog loves. This time it is a heart shaped soft chicken flavored treat. These are small, soft and easy to break into pieces. My dog has a tiny little mouth and teeth. The problem with many treats are their size or they are too hard. With this I know she can eat it no problem. The heart shape is adorable. I have tried other Blue Buffalo products and what I like is they don't use crap. No filler, no nasty by products, no junk. You get brown rice, oatmeal and flaxseed.
My Dog is rather fussy when it comes to treats, but loved these as I am sure he loved the pure Chicken Flavor. My only complaint is that they are very small in size and takes many of them to satisfy even a small dog. Aside from that one concern, these treats are wonderful and I recommend them.
