My beautiful Poochon was on Iams for 3 years...then she said no more. We switched to the Blue Stew varieties. She is so happy - licks the bowl clean every time!!
Our dog JuJuBee is 9 years old now and has congestive heart failure which will eventually take her life. Until then she is our baby. Ju got to where she just wouldn't eat. I ordered this and she did eat it for a little while. It was a relief for us that she ATE! She's always had Little Ceaser's wet dog food. We've had Ju since she was 6 weeks old. We already had two other dogs, Gizzy and Lizzy (brother and sister) and we lost both of them to congestive heart failure in 2023 with 9 months of one another. So, yes you do whatever you can to help them and keep them going and this, at least Ju will eat when she won't eat anything else.
Blue Buffalo dig food is quality food with mixed veggies and gravy.
I have tried several dog foods. My bichon decides after 2/3 of bag, she doesn't like her food anymore. I have discovered Blue Buffalo stews. She is allergic to chicken. She devours both of these. She is only 12 lbs. I have to cut each large piece into 3 or 4 smaller pieces or She won't eat them. I also add 1/4 c fresh veggies. She would not eat this stew without fresh veggies added.
Searched for a food to tempt my 14 year old Sheltie, who was upset with our moving and refused to eat anything. Blue Buffalo ingredients tempted her, once she got a little taste on a spoon, and she would then eat some of it. After the move, she changed completely. Now she dances around me and barks if I take too long preparing her dish. She eats a whole can a day now, and all angst has disappeared. She was on several medications, and is now off all of them and doing just fine. I am overjoyed, because having a pet that was starving herself is no fun, so am delighted that her system loves this food. She went from 25 lbs to 17 in two months, before, and is now back up to 22 lbs.
My fur baby, Toby, loves the Blue Buffalo Blue Stew. We mix it with dry food and he snarfs it down. Toby is getting older so we try to give him food that helps with his joints, skin, teeth and fur. Blue Buffalo was recommended to us by our vet and he has been eating it for several years. Of course we mix up the flavors for him, but he really likes the stew. We actually used to cook up chicken, rice and green beans to mix in with his hard food but he stopped liking it and prefers the Blue Buffalo. The only reason I am docking a star is because it does sometimes give him gas. It isn't all the time, but man, he can clear a room when it does happen. LOL!
Very oily. My dog did not care for it.
I DIDN'T get my order
I bought this a month and a half ago and I am so mad that I wasted my money on this food
If I could give 0 stars I would. My dogs (1 dachshund and 2 feists) love wet food mixed with their dry food, and this brand advertises quality ingredients that are good for your dog. Well after introducing this one to their breakfast/dinner bowls all three got very sick with GI trouble. As soon as I switched them to a different brand, they were better so I'm certain this was what caused their problems. I do not recommend this brand/flavor at all.
