Blue Buffalo Freedom Grain-Free Senior Dry Dog Food, Chicken & Potatoes, 24-lb Bag

Okay, so this one is serious. I have a male lab that is blonde and dad was a silver lab. Lucky is his name. Well Lucky has struggled with a chronic ear infection. He was always scratching. His ears would get dark and dirty with a yeast smell. I tried everything. Seriously. We had a subscription to Appoquel 16 mg for allergies. I didn't know what was wrong. We went to the vet and bought ear flush after ear flush. I had played with his diet and switched to Blue Buffalo thinking it would help. Well, my other lab, Charley, immediately started losing weight. He was so fat and uncomfortable. Lucky unfortunately, still had itchy ears. But that's not this product. Months later, I went back to the drawing/research board and found another suggestion. Someone did a blog about needing to switch to Grain Free for yeast over growth. So one night before leaving for a week, I had bought my first bag of Grain Free Blue Buffalo. When I dropped the dogs off at their Room and Board Dog Sitter, this was the food I sent with them. Well, when I came back from vacation and I picked up the boys, I inspected Lucky's ears. I was shocked to see that his ears were not near as dirty as when I last remembered having to wipe them out. So I was laying in bed two nights later and realized, OMgoodness! I switched the boys' food right before I left! It had to be the food! So here I am another couple of weeks later and Lucky has literally no sign of infection or yeast! 100% so excited!!!! We have been fighting this for years. Now tonight, he was scratching but not like he use to. So I get up and walk around in the kitchen and bed down like I was habitually going to clean out Lucky's ears, when I saw nothing in his ears! Nothing! I 100% recommend switching to this dog food if your dog has reoccurring yeast infections or chronic “allergies.” I give them all the credit. Such a relief. Thank you! My picky dog actually likes this kibble. The small size of the kibble makes it easy for her to eat as she is elderly and missing some teeth. Flavor and smell are appealing to her as well.

This is highly rated by Dog Food Advisor which is a non-profit organization set up by veterinarians. My dogs (3 of them) love this kibble and the canned as well. Coats are looking great. Highly recommend. Walmart offers a great price and they ship very fast. 5 Stars *****

I would recommend you buy a small bag first to insure that your dog likes the food before purchasing the larger bag. Mine liked it at first then decided he didn't.

The sparkle is back in her eyes. She wants to run %26 play again. I tried other brands, but she likes this one. I realized that she was getting older %26 I am glad she seems to perk up with Blue Buffalo.
