Blue Buffalo Homestyle Recipe Senior Wet Dog Food, Chicken Dinner, 12.5-oz. Can

This brand of dog food is all that I feed my little doggie. There is a variety to choose from. They have small containers that you can mix with kibble or the can type. I have recently observed refrigerated flavors. My dog is 14 years old and is very picky. This is the only brand of dog food that he will eat.

My 13 y/o pitbull takes heart medication twice a day. This food stays soft, and manageable after being refrigerated. I can use one scoop and it's soft enough to roll into a meatball, and she takes her pills. It makes giving her her medication a lot easiee, and she loves it!

Perfect wet food for when you're traveling with your furry family member. It is a must have! I travel 12 times a year and periodically my dog would fluctuate her weight. After being recommended adding blue buffalo wet food to her blue buffalo dry food she has been stable in her weight!

I don't ever get in depth with these but with this one I feel the need to because of how much we love our fur babies. I can hands down say this switch over to this brand has been the best decision I could have ever made it. My old lady is dang near 13 years old. if not a year older at minimum. She really started to slow down and we could see a massive decline. I know without a doubt or her age is going to be a factor no matter what but it was just massive in a few few month.. So I quickly took her in and be seen and she came out with a clean bill of health which both vet and I were quite surprised. So I decided it was time to change the diet and add another vitamin supplement. within 3 days of this routine you could see a massive difference in my girl and within 2 weeks she is back up and playing and looking healthier than ever and looks forward to her feedings and I am so thankful for that. Even if something as simple as changing your diet, paying a little more gives them a few more years with them. every dime of that is more than worth it. So for me and my little Foster tribe this is definitely the way to go especially. when they get into their senior years. Hope this helps you all. Mine all very in age and weight pretty significantly, but so far this has been the way to go for every breed we've had.

The ingredients are good I just want to be able to see more vegetables in it. Opening the can is very easy. I also wish Walmart would carry different varieties of single cans of Blue buffalo dog food for seniors. My girl likes the carrots in the food.

I bought this for our 13 year old chiweenie who was losing weight but I did want to increase his overall bulk of kibble. This provided more calories %26 fat and he loves it. He has stopped losing and is slowly gaining that 1 pound back

I switched from using the ceaser soft food to this brand(blue buffalo) trying to be more conscious of additive in my dogs food and I have been pleasantly surprised with this! I give my dog (mini yorkie) a lick mat frequently and it’s SO much easier to spread on it compared to other brands i’ve used. She also seems to like it more, so thats a definite plus!!

My dog is very finicky and this is one of the very few senior dog foods that she likes. But I noticed with time her tummy gets upset so I stopped feeding her this unfortunately. She is almost 18 years old now, but ate this food for years until this recent change.

My senior dog (15 yrs. old) has always been energetic %26 would eat anything. The past couple of months, though, she has slowed down considerably %26 the small, benign fatty tumor on the right side of her neck has gotten very large. The vet said as long as it doesn’t seem to be painful or interfere w/heart or lung function he wouldn’t remove due to her age. She also refuses to eat her food, or hardly anything else. I’ve tried lots of others foods, even cooking her food myself ( chicken, brown rice, etc.), with little success. I finally tried the Blue canned food for seniors %26 she is really eating it well. Its been a couple weeks now %26 she hasn’t refused it even once. There has also been a bit of shrinkage in the fatty tumor. I’m hopeful these positive signs will continue. I highly recommend Blue for seniors.

My senior dog no longer has teeth. This food is smooth and looks both easy to chew and digest. I hope this will be my dog's new favorite food.
