I can't really review this product intelligently -- I know nothing about animal nutrition and haven't tried the food myself, but this is the best I can do: we have one dog (Jenny, a beagle), and two cats (Gigi, a tuxedo cat) and Juno (a ginger). All three came from animal shelters (do consider adopting or at least making a donation) and get along very well both with each other and with the humans in the household. I have no recollection of why we settled on this brand of dog food, but I can honestly say that both Jenny and Juno seem to like the food, and are quite healthy after several months. Gigi seems to prefer her cat food, accompanied by cat treats and deli roast beef. When we fill the dog's bowl, Juno rushes in to get her share first, and Jenny waits patiently. Our veterinarian hasn't warned us against letting the cat eat dog food, and Juno eats her own food as well, so if there are cat specific nutritional needs, they're apparently being met. That's all I know about this product, and pet nutrition in general, but I'd like to put in another word about adopting pets from an animal shelter -- it can improve both your lives.
I have four dogs and when they started showing too much weight I started looking for food with high protein. This is our favorite. My dogs really turn into raving maniacs at mealtime. I even have one of the dogs who has always been a picky eater, but now eats twice a day with the crowd. They never let me run late on mealtime, their internal clocks go off and they let me know . We all love Blue Buffalo.
My dogs all of them seemed to like it. Then, like all others, became bored with it after a bit. The only ones noticing the ingredients seem to be the human owners.
My dog use to have a rash. Now he doesn't because I changed to Blue Buffalo. No rash. No chasing my dog down because he knows he is going to get medicine. No medicine application every day. No cost of medicine. Simple!!
My rott seems to like it but still transitioning so only time will tell
Our dog loves Blue Buffalo dog food and it is the only food she eats. When served the entire meal is consumed. Getting the large bags deliver to my front door is a huge help.
My mini golden doodle is allergic to corn. After feeding only rice and chicken for months I tried to find a food he could not only tolerate but thrive on. Our shelter was delighted as I donated bag after bag that did not work. Finally found Blue Wilderness! My boy gobbles up his food and is playful with lots of energy. We are happy campers.
Blue Buffalo (BB) Wilderness has the highest quality ingredients and my dog absutely loves the taste. She has been eating BB (dry
I am not sure about This product I have two picky dogs at this pound it's not a dog food product that they do like I also bought the can food to , to go with the dry it sits for a couple before the eat it looking for something else. They will eventually eat it. They're picky.
My boxer has been diagnosed with lymphoma and this brand was the only food I could find that was mostly protein and no grain. Grain feeds the cancer. My fur baby loves the new food but it's very expensive.
