My baby was losing all her fur. I tried everything that was suggested through Google with no change. After a year of her hair loss getting no better, I read where she may not be getting enough protein. I started her on this food. Within a few weeks, I could see her hair was growing back. It's been about six months now, and she has thick healthy fur. My Vet was amazed. I am so happy to have this issue resolved!
my little man loves blue buffalo more than any other brand! he eats the chicken too well, and he gained weight, so i switched to salmon, which he still prefers to any other food except the chicken flavor, but he doesn't eat it obsessively like the chicken and can keep his weight healthy. no better review than from the one who eats it!
Now if our house cat, Daisy, was writing this, I think this would be HER opinion. 'After many trials with other brands, my owner chose the Blue Buffalo brand both wet and dry food because I finally found something tasty and filling. No matter how much time my owner spends grooming me, I still have the occasional 'hairball attack'. I have selected the 'sensitive stomach' version, for this reason. It seems to have taken care of the problem.'
We adopted Oscar when he was 6, and fed him Purina One, which he'd gotten in the SPCA. Than he got out and was gone for 3 weeks. He wouldn't eat the Purina when he came back, having lost 4 pounds. My son fed his 21yo cat Blue Buffalo. While I didn't think there really could be that much difference in dry cat food, I was desperate and picked up the Blue Buffalo Wilderness Salmon flavor. Oscar started eating again! He absolutely loves the Blue Buffalo! Sic years later, he's almost 15 and still acts like a kitten, chasing balls, climbing shelves and providing a whole bunch of Kitty Love! I hope he continues to thrive on Blue Buffalo for many years to come!
My little saucy B loves this stuff. I unfortunately started her out on it after all her other siblings croaked. I could then afford her more expensive cat food when I went from three cats, to one. Now the little B is spoiled. She won't eat anything else. And of course, she prefers the duck over anything. Her second choice is the red meat. And after I started feeding her the red meat, she started biting me. This GD cat eats better than I do. Since groceries are so expensive, I can barely afford to feed myself, but this little girl gets some of the most expensive cat food on the market. But, she is worth it.
The bobcat on the packaging is so fierce, I had to try it. My cat stays outdoors most of the time and the food really has improved her coat. She seems to just eat small amounts throughout the day which reflects the high protein. I am still waiting for her to transform into the cat on the bag, maybe another year.
This is excellent food for my cats and they love it. I just had my cat at the veterinarian today for his yearly check up and shots. And the vet veterinarian said that he's an extremely healthy cat with a beautiful coat of hair. So I guess the food is very good for him. However, the cost is extreme.
My cats like it. They are healthy and happy. It agrees with their digestive systems. Their coats are good and brush easily. I will continue to purchase it for them. I add two teaspoons of salmon oil twice a week to prevent hairballs. I also like that it is grain free! My cats get chopped raw beef liver
I really like the freeze dried, cold pressed. wish I could find a greater % of cold formed food for my cat. As we all know most kibble is extremely over cooked, and isnt healthy. Actually causes animals to die early. I wish my cat would eat canned, or cooked chicken, or organ meat. Just maybe I could stop him from throwing up, he doesn't like /most wet food products. only senior Delectables, thats sapose to be a snack. tryd cat grass, maybe enzymes, that worked for my stomach issues. I'm at a loss of what to do, he isn't to skinny. I just hope its good enough to be healthy.
For the last 9 months, Callie Tabby has been eating 11 lbs of Wilderness with Salmon dry cat food. It was a definite winner, she rushed to eat it in the morning and ate it with the kind of relish that always pleases any cat owner. We finally finished the bag, which was according to Callie delicious to the last morsel. So... I recently purchased a 4 lb bag and opened it yesterday. She won't go near it, won't even taste it, and will eat anything else I put before her (no, there's nothing wrong with her digestion or health). I reached out to Blue Buffalo via email to find out if there was a recent formula change and so far no answer. I dare not feed this to her because I don't know if there's something wrong with it. If Callie says it's not right, then that's good enough for me, she had so consistently eaten this every morning for all this time. I don't know what to do with this because bag I don't want to donate tainted food.
