Blue Diamond's Smokehouse Almonds are my all time favorite nuts for snacking. The smoky and salty flavor is addicting.I cannot eat too many in one sitting because it is saltier than I am used to. This is okay because one ounce is 170 calories and has 7% sodium (150 mg), 10% dietary fiber (3 grams), and 6 grams of protein. The other amazing nutrients for the same one serving of an ounce are 50% Vitamin E (7.2 mg) and 15% Magnesium (75 mg). I like the smaller snack size nuts because they are easier to chew. Another plus is that these almonds are grown and packed in California. I am trying to eat better. So, when I feel peckish, I include a handful of these nuts in my snacking.

Blue Diamond Smokehouse almonds are simply the best. They taste great, are very nutritious, and convenient to quickly chase away the belly ache on those days you are so busy you skip a meal... The only bad things I can say is that sometimes bags are too light on the seasoning, and the walmart price has just gone up 15%.

I love the smokehouse flavor. It is so delicious and very flavorful. You can actually mix these half and half with plain roasted almonds or other nuts and the whole mix will be flavorful.

I buy these all the time because they are a good snack alternative. 28 nuts per day is a proper amount so I try to stay in that range. It's not always easy! I often pre-fill a shot glass because it's a perfect serving. Unfortunately, the recent bag I purchased was rancid/stale. The expiration date was still good for one year, I never took notice of the expiration date on other bags because they always tasted fresh. This review is for this individual purchase only. I'm hoping somebody will take notice because I sure don't want this experience to repeat itself.

They used to be great. A little expensive but workable. Recently though i've noticed they are using less seasoning. I'm not sure when it happened, but the last several bags I've bought have had significantly less seasoning. I like that they are less messy, but there's also a big reduction in the smoky flavor. I'll probably be moving to another option.
