Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion, 5 fl oz

I'd never used this product before but bought it to take on vacation to the beach. I applied it to my ankles and feet because those areas always BURN at the beach. It's VERY THICK, and I did not burn on those areas where I applied it. The cream didn't come off when I walked along the shore in the water and stayed on until hours later in the shower. It has the consistency of Desitin ( for diaper rash) IMO, and would really protect your face from burning. I didn't use it on my face because it doesn't blend in too well and my other 50 SPF blends evenly and no bright white color is left behind. It does work though, and will be going again on my next beach trip.

I don't like the consistency I would prefer a lotion but saying that this works. It goes on white and thick but absorbed very fast just takes a bit of extra rubbing but I'll live with that cause it does the job and I normally start burning five minutes into being in the sun.

Our child got bit by a dog and has some scars from it. The best protection against scars is to stay out of the sun. Well can't do that with a toddler so we use a big hat and only this sunscreen. It goes on very quickly. It does leave a tint but that's the mineral and that's what it's supposed to do. I'd rather my child be protected than care about some sunscreen showing. I will always go with this brand. Last us a while too.

I tried Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion for the first time and was really impressed. I shared it with a friend, and she liked it so much she had to buy one too! I spent about eight hours at the river and didn't get sunburned. I did reapply as directed throughout the day. Another huge plus is that it didn't irritate my eyes at all, which is important for me with sensitive sunscreen products. Excellent coverage and protection. Definitely a new favorite!

We spend a lot of time on the water and outside, and this has been our favorite sunscreen over the years. You still get a nice tan, we don't seem to need to reapply as often as friends with chemical sunscreen, and it's not as white as some of the other mineral based ones out there.

Works well as a sunscreen but it is so thick that it's hard to spread on my skin. If years ago you used zinc oxide it is similar - it's feels heavy especially on your face and leaves a white ghostly cast because it's hard to spread.

Works great! No burns buuuut, be prepared to rub it in, and even then it will have a greasy film til it dries completely so keep that in mind if you have leather seats or windows in your car. You will have oily streaks, so bear that in mind.

This product hardly smells. I am a truck driver and I have rosacea so I need to wear sunscreen daily. This product goes on white and disappears when rubbed into the skin. There is barely a smell and it seems to moisturize very well. A little greasy for about ten minutes then it absorbed well. I am allergic to most sunscreens but this product was fantastic for my fair and irritable complexion.

Great product! I burn very easily but I used this on a summer vacation where I was outside in the sun daily and I didn't burn once. When I felt like I was starting to burn after several hours I would reapply and it was very soothing because it contains aloe.

This is one of my favorite sunscreens. This is one of my favorite sunscreens. I find that the mineral sunscreen's last longer are more waterproof and because of this I end up less likely to burn. And this is my favorite brand of mineral sunscreen that's available at Walmart, and the price is unbeatable compared to other retailers.
