I love the face it changes color. It's great and it helps. I bought it for my husband since he works in construction and spends all day in the sun. He no longer gets sunburned since he applies it every 2 hours. And I got it pretty fast for which I was thankful for since it's been getting hotter due to summer. I also got one for my baby since it is actually safe for them to use too.
Dermatologist approved high quality sun protection that saves our reefs, doesn't get any better! Wait, it does! The bottle changes colors in harmful UV rays reminding you to stay lathered up!
Blue lizard sunscreen is only sunscreen I buy for my children. They have very sensitive skin and this brand is only brand that doesn't irritates their skin.
My dermatologist recommended this sunblock because it is natural. There is a recent study that shows the skin absorbs chemicals from traditional sunblocks (still unknown what the effect of the absorption is, though). This sunblock doesn't contain those chemicals. It is very thick and goes on white. You have to rub it in and then wait a little bit for the white to go away. Your skin will be very shiny. On my face, I used this under my foundation, which made the foundation slide quite a bit. I set it with some extra powder.
Seriously the only sunscreen I use for myself and family. Out at Lake Tahoe all day and no burns. My kiddo was at soccer camp and never got sunburned thanks to this product. If you have the chance also buy the stick of this same blue lizard sunscreen. Great for faces.
This was what I have been looking for to use on my face. I have issues with other sunscreens causing my eyes to water/burn. The natural mineral sunscreen doesn't cause this issue and stays on well when I am exercising. It does take awhile to soak in and makes your skin look a little pale, but very good overall.
came in ok condition. package was damaged. opened the lid and there was some sunscreen so i thought it was used or leaked, but the packaging is still there so i'm not sure what happened.
Aveeno baby is much better in my opinion as it is twice as thick. This has a ton of "other" ingredients so it's not just titanium dioxide. The liquid comes pouring out almost like water so I have to use twice as much as the Aveeno. Also no way to avoid the white haze. I just may go back to a chemical sunscreen.
This is not a bad review of Blue Lizard but rather of Walmart. They sent me an expired bottle of the sunscreen and I burned to a crip in every area that I used it on😵💫. Praying they will send me a new bottle - preferably not one that has expired.
Worst sunscreen I've ever used. This leaves a thick white film all over your skin, and it will not wash off. This is especially a problem with your hands, which are used to apply the sunscreen. The white film will not come off when you wash your hands, even with soap! But it WILL come off on anything that you touch. Your phone, keys, doorknobs, towels — anything you touch will have a white residue on it. Avoid this product at all costs!
