It's expensive but the ingredients are better. It leaves a white reminisce behind, but I'm ok with that for the sake of cleaner sunscreen.
Blue Lizard line is great mineral sunscreen. Goes on without leaving white residue like other mineral sunscreen.
This is the only sunscreen we use. My daughter and I burn very easily but not with Blue Lizard. Even after long days at Universal Studios Florida and after hours of marching band practice - no burns! We reapplied/touched up every 2 or 3 hours consistently.
Fantastic spray sunscreen for my toddler with sensitive skin. We needed a spray sunscreen for daycare but the ones we bought were too irritating for her skin. The other ones have some chemical in them that makes it come out like a fine mist and whatever that was made her skin red, irritated and scaly/rashy. This one sprays out like actual lotion. Which means you kind of still have to rub it in but I would rather spend two seconds to do that than have to deal with a yucky rash.
I haven't used it yet, but have read good things. It was hard to get the plastic off though
Nothing better than a product made in a country that understands sun and sun damage.
this is very white and is hard to blend in and shows every speck of dead skin so i have to exfoliate really good to keep using this otherwise its embarrasing.
I love Blue Lizard! It was recommended to me by a dermatologist and I've used it for a few years. My 8 year old hates being still for sunscreen so I thought this might be a good option. It's thick (like all BL sunscreen), which makes it impossible to just “spray and go.” You still have to rub it in. It sprays bright white so it is easy to see where you missed. We plan to finish this bottle, but will definitely opt for the traditional non-spray option next time.
My boyfriend and I used the spray and my 3 children (2 red heads) used the lotion- same brand. Me and my bf both got sunburns.. my children were fine. I am a pro at applying sunscreen since having 2 redheads and make sure to set an alarm to reapply on dry skin and I absolutely don't recommend the spray. It also had a strong scent.
I had the same problem as some others--the spray button moved from locked to unlocked, but wouldn't spray. I took this sunscreen on vacation and didn't open it until I got to my destination. I met a nice guy who was an industrial engineer, and he tried for a while to get it to work, with no luck.
