This is what you need to fix your exhaust. Its meant to fix cracks and splits but I used it to recouple a weld break. Make sure any rust is fully wire brushed off, mix, and I applied all around the coupling area and it dried as hard as steel. It's a little pricey, but cheaper than a chain exchaust place. It does work.
