Bought this for my Grandson for upcoming Christmas, so I can't really give an honest review except that he loves Legos and has many pieces and sets. He loves to use his imagination and come up with different ideas and how things work. It will be something besides all the Legos. My daughter thinks he will love it!
Brought this gor my 6 year old and he LOVES ut. Keeps him busy for hours.
Our daughter is in love with this STEM building set. She's only three, but the pieces are large and sturdy enough to handle a three-year-old's more forceful handlings. And while it's a little challenging for her to make more complex builds at her age, she has got the height part down pat. Her favorite tool is the clear spinner-type joint. I wish it came with more of those, but we have the smaller set too and it comes 1 extra one of those. I love how this can grow with her and how she can challenge herself to more complex builds as she gets older. Highly recommended for Lego-type creativity and as an introductory tool to engineering and problem solving.
The kids love this marble set! It has literally provided hours of playtime for my 6 and 10 year olds as they create new marble runs. The marbles glow in the dark which has also been quite entertaining for them! Very happy with this product. I highly recommend!
My 5 year old son and I have a lot of fun with this. The marble set is easy to put together and re-arrange, coming with enough pieces to really make some elaborate designs. We've has a few crashes and tip-overs when gravity wasn't on our side buteverything has held up well. The pamphlet on motion was a nice little extra. Like most "glow in the dark" claims, you really have to expose the object to bright sunlight to see any glow, so we left it outside on a sunny day and we weren't disappointed. Overall a solid indoor activity.
My son loves this marble run. His favorite part of it is that the marbles glow in the dark. That will make it easy for him to find it if he accidentally drops one. My favorite part of this set is that it comes with a bag to hold all of the pieces when not in use.
The NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Glowing Marble Run Kit consists of 115 Piece Construction Set with 25 Glow in The Dark Glass Marbles and 89 construction pieces that fit snugly together. This set also comes with a Storage Bag. With 31 exciting action pieces and 53 clear smooth-run tube pieces, and 5 base pieces, this kit has countless imaginative configurations for kids and is a great Great Creative STEM Toy for my son, who loves to play with this kit with his friends all the time and every single day. The marble run kit includes 5 different colors of glow-in-the-dark glass marbles that shine bright as they zig-zag down the marble run. Also includes a UV light to quickly recharge the marbles. The included storage bag makes it easy to store your marble run construction pieces and glow-in the-dark marbles in one place. My son just love this set a lot as the learning guide inside teaches about the physics of motion and gravity, which my son is super excited about, to learn. The Glowing Marble Run Kit is definitely a high-quality educational toy for that is a great STEM toy as well as gives a whole lot of fun yo kids and my son's experience is always extraordinary with this toy. Also, I have already recommended it to many of my friends and family with young kids and several of them have already purchased it for their kids and and their kids have played with this kit already and they all love the glow-in-the-dark glass marbles as well as the construction pieces a lot.
Fun to build and play; loved the glow in the dark marbles.
this was a great gift but I noticed when it was opened that it didn't look new, some pieces were in a bag, others were just in the box. some of the tubes looked a little scratched. unfortunately the gift went to a different state so I was unable to exchange it out.
