The Blue Moon Beads UV Resin Monogram Keychain Kit is great! Very easy to use, customize and really keeps everyone happy. Designs can be customized in a ton of ways, for example like someone's name on a keychain (up to 5 letters), someone's initials, or someone's 3-letter monogram. It makes it easy to create 8 custom monogram keychains in just a few minutes. Very little mess, which is a plus for me (or should I say the grandkids!). UV Resin is an easy to use crafting material that cures completely clear, almost instantly under UV Light. The nice thing is it doesn't cure/harden until you expose it to the blue light, so there is plenty of time to clean up any spills or issues one has. This kit contains UV resin, 2 silicone molds, a UV Lamp (which does need to plug into a USB port), and all the other parts and tools one needs to get crafting right away. Makes two different shapes of keychains, with an alphabet mold to add the letters of your choice. The mold and lamp can be used over and over again too. All the instructions are in printed and video form - just scan the QR code on the back of the box to show a demonstration of how to get started. After seeing people all over social media making resin art i was interested in trying it out for myself. The Blue Moon UV resin monogram keychain kit is perfect for beginners! The kit comes with everything you will need to make the perfect, custom keychain. Included in the kit are: 25 grams of hard UV resin, 9 Watt UV lamp and USB cord, 2 reusable silicone molds, 4 wooden stirring sticks, silicone mixing cup, 2 grams of 4mm flatback pearls, 8 keychain findings with chain, 8 jump rings, 1 gram ultra find silver glitter and also white glitter, 1 gram of each blue, pink, silver and black hexagon glitter, 1 gram gold glitter flakes and 1 gram iridescent glitter flakes, and easy to follow instructions. Before making make sure you have proper protective equipment and that your in a well ventilated area. To begin, mix resin, your choice of glitter and stir together. Place mix into desired mold and wipe up and excess. Cure under light (see instructions for times). Allow to cool before gently demolding. Assemble your made letters and prep the mold for the keychain with resin and desired glitters. Add your lettering to mold and place under UV lamp to cure. Lastly, attach hardware to keychain. Resin making is definitely a fun and easy hobby anyone can do. I highly recommend for anyone looking to get creative. I got this for my 8 year old and now all she wants to do is make keychains everyday. I told her to make holiday gifts for her family. The instructions are easy to follow and the stuff works as expected. My daughter picked colors that don't really stand out much against each other but when she gets those combos right they will be very nice to look at. She is still having a ton of fun. I guess at some point we'll need more resin and glitter but so far she's made three and we have a lot left.

Comes with everything needed to make about 8 keyrings. Has easy to follow instructions. I enjoyed getting to try something new! I would recommend this to anyone who likes to get crafty.

I think for someone just beginning with resin this IV resin is a good way to start! I have used various resins, and I have to say this one here does what it says it will do! It comes with a silicone pouring cup that you can mix your glitter in. Which is pretty amazing not having to mix different things together. The key chains were super easy. First ones turned out pretty good. I used the darker glitter and placed it under the light for 5 minutes total. They came right out of the mold so easy! Now the letters are very small…. So when mixing those I would have my glitter in the cup before the resin because it definitely will start hardening if you have any natural lighting at all! Now pouring into those tiny letters, oh boy!!! Took them all of 2 minutes to be ready! I really like the way they turned out. They are thin and small about a half inch tall…. Which I like for being able to put names, initials, etc… on things. Just put some uv rein in them, put them in place and put under uv light for a few minutes and boom personalized keychains or whatever you are putting them on! Like I said only down side is it is hard to get the letters filled due to them being so small, but over all I love this! It is really a great brand to use! Also the instructions aren't vague like some you get in resin. I would have given five stars if it was easier to use the letters that came with it. Maybe a syringe of some sort with a narrow end so you can be more precise on how much goes in it. I used a damp paper towel wiped off the excess and they turned out great! Satisfied customer for sure!

This was pretty neat little kit to get started making key rings. While it is crafty and makes neat little items, I wish it was a little simpler. All in all not overly complicated though, just felt I needed to supervise my daughter who is 11, almost 12!!

This is a wonderful UV Resin Craft Kit from Blue Moon Beads. The kit has everything you need to get started to make two styles of key chains for a total of 8 key chains. If you are a beginner I recommend that you watch the video that is attached on the instruction sheet. Read all of the instructions before you start your project. Lay out all of the packets of glitter and sequence from the kit in front of you. Get the other items out of the kit and get a baby wipe for the wooden stick. Plug the UV lite into an outlet but not into the lite. My lite didn't work with the power button on the top of the lite to turn it on for a minute. So let your imagination go and see what you can come up with for your key chains and get started. I haven't worked with resin so this was a learning curve for me. My first key chain did ok. The second one and the letters faded into the glitter and couldn't be seen. The third one was a total disaster. I tried to color the resin and that didn't work. I had huge bubbles and holes in the piece. I definitely need more practice to get perfect pieces. I had to use a separate timer to use with the UV lite for a minute timer. When the lite was plugged in it turned on without pushing the button.

My 13 year old loves this kit. I made her put it on a protective surface just in case of a mess and it comes with everything you need. It even includes a UV light which I think is nice.

I really wanted to like this craft. Unfortunately, I did not know ahead of time that the lamp is not one you can just plug into a regular wall socket. It does come with a USB cord but not the adapter to plug into the wall. The kit looks like it has everything else you would need to make some really nice keychains. Overall, I would recommend this craft kit but be sure you have a way to energize the UV/LED lamp.
