Blue Planet:Seas of Life: Special Edition [DVD]

This is an exceptional and educational video that all ages can enjoy. Some of the shots that the camera crew were able to capture are awesome. I highly recommend this, along with "Planet Earth", to any nature enthusiast.

A great movie

I love this DVD, This is by far one of the best nature series I own. I had no ideal this collection was so well put together. If you're anything like me, you want to hear the sounds of nature and not musical instrument drowning out the very things you spent your hard earned money for, and see things you've never seen before up close, so close that you may be compelled to wonder if the camera men are crazy!!!, they really take you there, I just love that! They do have bonus footage that will help you to develop a better understanding of how hard they work to get you the footage they get. The clarity of the DVDs are great, you're really going to appreciate the fact that they used state of the arts equipment to produce this series, breath taking footage. This was not cheaply thrown together. Even the music it set for mood and meaning. I rate this DVD a 10 because this is a set I'm going to wear out. I highly recommend it.

love this dvd. Worth the money

This is a wonderful complement to the Planet Earth DVD series and if you do not currently own both sets then I would recommend purchasing the other one to complete your collection. Additionally, I am a Communications major and enjoy all of the photographic elements that both series have to offer.

I live these sets. I always have Blue Planet and Planet Eart Marathons all weekend long. Good times... Good times...

I purchased this set for my 6 year old. Her older cousin has this set and they watched it together one day and that is all my daughter talked about. I got a set for her and I am amazed at all she has learned about marine life from these videos. Highly recommended.

the DVD was very informative even though I do not agree in the preconceptions of evolution the information was non the less good and the presentation was well done.

The Blue Planet Seas of Life 5 Discs special edition (DVD) is a spectacular documentary. Absolutely stunning! It's a great complement to our Planet Earth Blu-Ray Natural History Collection.

I purchased this as a companion to the Planet Earth series that I had received last year. Unfortunately, the product that I received from Wal-Mart was late in arriving and was damaged, so I have been unable to view the entire series. What I have seen has been quite repetitive. The photography is fantastic and I look forward to seeing something other than fish eating fish when Wal-Mart gets the quality issue straightened out.
